Little things ...  ::)

The previous version of Montpellier's tram was a simple resizing and re-skin of one of Girafe's automata ( RATP Tram T3 ) he made 11 years ago , available at ToutSimcities.com ... I found the Examplar file of the tram car ( TRAINS_Elev_car_1098 ) in the simcity_1.dat and saw that it has an OccupantGroups ;

... which means that you can have as many various cars than you want ...

... with as many various lenghts than you want ...

... I should now create several small variations of these 2 types of cars ( not to say that's also possible to add a « s » to « engine »  ;D  ... )

Thanks for the comments ( emanuelfranco & fantozzi ) and Likes , that's particularly gratifying to read that you woke up again someone's interest for the game . ;)

Reminds me that there're several days now that I didn't make one ...  $%Grinno$%

Edit : just finished to rework roofs ...

Montpellier, j'adore! <3  J'ai y été, je voyagais avec ce tramways là-bas!  ;D

Great work! I see that you generally switched to making automatas recently, but I try to imagine how would Place de la Comédie look like if you're back to playing in Lot Editor  $%Grinno$%
Thank you for visiting Kolbrów, and for being for last ten years!

Different cars in a single tram ?

Most certainly vester , who is to be considered ( with Rivit) , as the train & tram specialist , knows that .

Ho, I just throw this here......  :satisfied:

And it was a rather good idea ...  ;D

The one made by Girafe 11 years ago ( it seems that the model is from vester ) and available at Toutsimcities.com is , according to the Readme , an Alstom Citadis 402 , while your picture shows a Citadis 302 ( at least for the engine , because various engine and cars versions are commonly mixed ) ... personally I'm completely lost among all these Citadis versions  $%Grinno$% , but it doesn't seem to matter that much and so , I'm pleased to present you my upgraded version of a RATP Citadis Tram ;

Hope you like it ! :satisfied:

My PM system here at Devotion is , for an unknown reason , out of service ; I can receive messages but can't send any ... I've been able to send my complete upgraded automata set for testing to Girafe , 000 and Alejogc13 via their private email , so if the following people are interested in testing them as well , I'm waiting for them to send me a message with their private email ; Une_ame , Krasner , Art128 , mattb325 and eggman121 ...

Thanks for the comments and Likes , @ Kamil ; thanks for the few words in french  :thumbsup:  ( I knew you can speak french since I was following your thread at TSC ... :P ) , yes , it would be a good challenge to reproduce Place de la Comédie ... but my interest for the game ( since more than 15 years ! ?=mad)= ) is evoluating and for the time being I'm not motivated at all to launch  LotEditor  %wrd  ( ... but , who knows ! $%Grinno$% ).

Cédric .

Fantastic, I've sent you a PM!
This will be revolutionary to our old game. Quite possibly one of the best things in anticipation of release (and especially so, since every model has been re-done so meticulously and with such attention to detail).  &apls

Krasner

Nice :satisfied: I like how you managed to also make these look bigger, I've always felt like many tram automatas were undersized, I mean even more than cars and such. AND I'd be really interested in testing your whole set, thanks for suggesting - soon you will find my PM  ;)

Badsim

Hi ,

Third week of confinement at home here ... the occasion to get my train automata dirty , as much as I wash my hands.

Gabs, Gabss, Gas, Gahkss, Gahkkss, Hbis, Hbills, Hbillns, Habils, Habis, Habbiss, Habbillss, Rils, Rins, Rilns, Rilnns, Shimms, Shhmms ... french freight boxcars classification has a true poetry on its own ... like steel, dust, dirt, rust and graffitis have their own.

That's how it works , more or less easily depending the perspective to correct:

And so on :

This catalogue isn't exhaustive , for each category I've got strong material to create tens of other skins. As you have certainly noticed, I've been able to change the look of the hoopers for a more modern appearance, this is their new FSH pattern:

The same for tank cars, playing with both FSHs and UVMapping for slight but visible changes notably at their top :

I've just started  to revamp tank cars, and, again, tens of skins are planned.

Ingame pics:

At the end of November, I went back at school, starting a 6 months training program for a job change ... since my last post, I've had so to suspend my SC4 activities. Now I'm confined at home , waiting for a possible but unsure resumption of my training program on the 4th of May ... Finally, it was a good point ; at the end of December, Muttley72 relesead his INTERFRIGO Freight Box-Car on the STEX, poor FHS but priceless model with its curved roof ( all my covered boxcars are some variations of this single model ) and I've found recently this priceless site from an european  rail stuff french fan : LeWagonEuropéen

Take care.

C.

Thanks Cedric for the fantastic update.  :thumbsup:

Hope you are well. Very sad about what is happening near you RL wise &ops

Anyway, I am so glad you are still making these models. They are a pure delight to see.

I think many Rail users will like to give these a roll once the time comes.

Please take care!

Girafe

Hello my guinea fowl  :P
Lovely texturing you have done with these freight cars  :thumbsup:
A pity that you are more profuctive than me as I have some models for freight cars which are more detailed but I hadn't time and motivation to start working on them  &mmm
As usual, so inspiring countryside landscape  ::) ::) I love these street textures  ;)

I have done that some time ago (TFP2)

Une_ame

Yess, and now they're my standard trams. As you have already noticed, Badsim's tram uses longer railcars which fit better Paris's RATP ones.

Even if I hope a rapide end and an effective solution against this virus (with a though for the medicine teams), this C19 seems to be a bessing for SC4 right now !

That's some just stunning work on the automata  &apls &apls  I've seen some sharp looking freight trains in the past but never so nice as this  :o

Indeed quite an outstanding work on these automatas. Must have taken you a very long time.
