they'd be in bad taste even for me 

Seriously though, I like the change and respect and understand what it represents. My old man was a
volunteer firefighter in his younger years, and was involved in fighting some massive bushfires some which
threatened our own home.

We have our bushfire problems out here every summer, but the current Californian fires are hard to imagine.
400k people evacuated, unbelievable. That's either bad luck or bad planning (or a bit of both), regardless it's
the guys in the red trucks you have to admire, going in to evacuate people and risking their own lives to bring
out people foolhardy enough to stay with their homes.

Im sorry dave, i know i have alot of respect even for myself... But its sad that the full timers dont really think us volunteers are worth squat and well that is anther heated discussion for anther forum/group lol.... But dont get me wrong theres some full timers that also volunteer and them guys have the highest respect but either way... 

I know its scary to think that almost at one point a million people was displaced but amazingly enough only few 1000 or so have lost their homes and only like 20 fire releated deaths.... WoW talk about the luck of the irish

There is NO cleaning involved this time pat, this time I'm taking it easy.. My sister came over, so we both hang out at the mall yesterday woooho! We both a great time! Bought me my early birthday gift!
