Keeping bandwidth costs down..

I have a suggestion for keeping costs down and I hope this is the right place to put it. Collect all the custom content into a torrent and let the users take care of the bandwdth. Consider two things about the LEX: it's more selective than other file exchanges so updates don't need to happen often and its smaller than other file exchanges so it wouldn't be a ridiculously huge torrent. Maybe 10 gigs at most? I know I wouldn't mind sharing the bandwidth load.

Hey Castironpigeon first welcome to devotions and second this issue on torrents has allread been discused here and if i could find the link it would be helpful to see at this time the community as whole probley wont go with the idea... maybe someone else can point to the thread here - pat

At busy times of the day, it may be a good idea to limit bandwidth per downloader, say 100kb/s per download. This might help with allowing bandwidth to go a long way, even though it wouldn't reduce the amount used, it'd simply mean less load on the server at busy times.
