Thank you guys, I'm very glad to be part of this group of 5 MDs for March ;D and I'll do my best to make this a month of activity.

Some really awesome work here. This CJ is getting better and better by every page.

I think it's fantastic that you take the time to lot everything you use. It really gives your cities a unique and atmospheric look.

Oh, and congrats on the award. Well deserved.

emilin

Congratulations on the well deserved award! &apls

The latest update is fantastic. The use of NOB:s Hiroshima station is spectacular - Wow!

One thing that was pointed out to me was the need for curbs between the parked cars and sidewalks - and I think that you should probably look into that too. There is a prop called "concrete curb" that is fairly discrete but still seperates the cars from the pedestrians.

Oh, and I have a question too - there is one train prop I haven't seen before (the two red old looking engine cars). Please tell us what that is and where you found it?

Replies for the People

Glenni - Being compared with such incredible MDists like them feels really great, alot of these lots wouldn't have been as good without your props either  ;)

squidi - Thank you!

TheSixCents - Thanks Chris.

Bat - Glad you still like the MD Bat!

Robin - Thanks my friend, I'm starting to get the hang of it quite well now, its a matter of knowing prop packs well, I used to have to look at everything to find what I wanted, now I know what pack and what prop for certain things I need.

Warconstruct - thank you for your kind words there, its really nice to hear that the LE time isn't going to waste.

Adam - Thanks Adam, Im really glad you liked it. What I did for this update was conduct a ton of research on Odessa, and find the closet possible buildings. Then I mixed it with Badsim style LEing, and a few soviet props from Glenni, and tada! I love that market also, have plans for a fishing one on one of the piers in the harbor, which will be much more lively than my past attempt.

Pat - Thanks Pat, I'm happy to hear you liked the park, as I wasn't sure it was the greatest lot.

Thundercrack - Hello Dustin, thanks for your continuous support here and I'm glad you liked the piccies

Earthquake - I spend a fair amount of time in LE, but probably nothing near the amount Badsim spends, his lots are just so much more unique and detailed (alot of my lots are recycled).

Krio - Well there are a few faults, such as the traffic, and some lack of diversity in the lots, but I'm glad you, who has a skill for finding and pointing out faults (which helps me fix later) hasn't found any  ;D

Bigberta - Hello, always glad to see a new face around here, especially if you liked the update  :satisfied:

Sebes - Well this area is certainly quite nice, not sure about the area in the update before, still wouldn't want to live there :P

Dustin - Woah!!! Thanks!

Adam - Thanks for the congrats my friend.

Sebes - Always nice to have a reward after a long day of hard work sitting in a nice office after being driven to work in a limo....err I mean laboring for the people :P

Pat - Thank you for the congrats as well. :)

Bat - Wow, tons of congrats from people, but everyone makes it even better, thank you! ;)

FrankU - Thank you, unfortunately this will force the Port Project to collect dust webs until April :P

Mulefisk - Another new face, I'm really glad you've enjoyed your visit. Those stairs will also be featured in the update after this one, which is planned for Thursday.

Emilin - Glad to see you around. Great to hear some advice for the lots also, I'll certainly look into that prop, is it Maxis or part of a prop pack (though I have almost every one known to man now :P). And for your question about the train prop, you seem to be the only one that noticed. Before you kindly converted the region runners and I discovered Nob's train props, I feared that I would have to BAT all my trains, as I couldn't find any props. This is the result, it is my own model of a Soviet VL10 engine. A pretty bad one if you ask me :P

------------------------------------------------------

This update will the first one lacking any mosaics at all, also the first one outside of the game (technical). While Adam (ennedi) and I were PMing each other about something, I asked as a side note if he'd be interested in the LE shots of all the lots featured in the last update. And so I will have an LE shot of every single lot from the last one, well any one extra that some of you may have already seen in the Show us your W2W thread (it features one of the most prominent landmarks in Odessa). Anyway enjoy, and questions are more than welcome!

That last lot will be the center of the next update, as I said in Mulefisk's reply which is set to go on Thursday. And by the way, thank you to all the staff for selecting the PSSO as a  part of OSITM, the party is pleased ;) They threw a party!

And remember, In Soviet Russia, Party Find You!

Glenni

And also, to give Odeschyna even more of that authentic Soviet feel. We've been working on rendering EVEN MORE props to spice up the streets, countryside, plazas and so on.

In this pic there are
LADA
FSO Polonez
Volga
Chaika
MI-27 Helicopters
BRDM APCs
BTR80 APCs
BMP APC
Shilka Armored gun vehicle
Trabant
RAF vans
and UAZ 4x4s

These models are not mine so i don't want to release them at any exchanges, but if you absolutely want them . Just give me a PM.

Hello,
I never had the chance to congratulate you for getting into SIOTM.  Very well deserved my friend.
This update is especially interesting for me.  I love this new phase that people are starting to show.  Showing pics from LE.  It just goes to show how much work is involved in making a LOT.
Cant wait to see what you have for us next.

That's a great work on the LE there! Looking wonderful!

Also looking forward to more in this month!

Nardo69

Congrats on the well deserved  OSITM my friend!

And great work with the LE! I just don't understand why you turned one of the few big through station into a terminus - as the most big stations available are terminus stations.

Take care (and don't forget to make backups!

Bernhard

thundercrack83

Wonderful work in the LE, my friend! And I'm pleased to hear that the party had party to celebrate your time in the OSITM! Can't wait to see more of your work!

These LE shots are excellent, everything fits very well
Yes, the rail station is great, w2w lots too, but one of my favourites is the park, these lots are one of the most realistic I have ever seen!

Looking at these pictures I'm afraid a bit about my future LE adventures, it seems it needs an extreme patience  :D
I think I will have a few questions for you, but maybe via PM  :)

PSSO is not only my favourite place to visit, but also one of the most creative MDs  &apls
I'm very curious of Potemkin stairs - how will they look in your city?
