Not sure if this is the right place to ask this but, I have recently made a craptastic little farm( my first BAT..sadly I only have like 6 mostly useless textures hehe) and I changed the farm field ID line in the Reader to make it use a CSX wheat field. Problem is when the lot grows in the game the field is completley transparent. Just the field mind you...the lot is perfectly fine albeit ugly and furthermore I have the proper UI when the area where the field is, or rather should be, is queried. Any help from the BAT gods would be most helpful. Thank you for your time to all who read.

First thing to check is that any textures and/or props for the field are present in your plugins folder.  If they aren't it would result in what you're describing

Yep I have all the dependancies. Thats the only thing I could think would cause my problem. Thanks for the reply though.

Try opening up that paticular farm field in lot editor and see what you get there.  Alternatively, if you have SC4tool and are familair with it, open the lot in the building importer and analyzer and check it in there to see if it says anythings wrong.  If it looks all clear in those you can send me the descriptor file--my email is in my profile--(or post a picture of it opened in the reader in this thread) and I'll have a look over it.

Hehe sadly I can't post a pic or a desc file as the computer I play and mod isn't hooked up to the internet. I'm thinking I just didn't do the right thing in setting the farm field ID's. I really appreciate your help. Let me ask this In the file that came with the CSX fields it listed some fields( about 4) and a hex ID. Then it had a line that said STRING:#x#####,#x##### with about 4 ID's listed. I should only need the ID for the wheat field right? Sorry if I'm rather confusing hehe. Once again thank you for your help and to anyone else that weighs in.

Well, if the proper query came up in game, then you've got the field properly referenced in the farm's descriptor file, unless I'm really missing something.  That said, the hex for the field should be 8 digits in this format 0x########, and the one for the wheat field is all that needs to go into the farm fields property.  Also check that in the "reps" column just before that in the reader it reads just "1" for that property(should always be equal in this case to the number of fields you have referenced to that IR(farm) building, in this case just 1)

Well I did reinstall all dependencies and I also checked that rep setting and oddly enough I remembered to set it to 3 when I had 3 fields referenced but I neglected to change it back to 1 when I dropped down to just one field.
It works now..I can't believe I missed resetting that rep variable. Thanks a bunch for your help..now if only I could download some BAT skills I'd be set.  :D Thanks again.

lol, glad you got it working, the rep value has snuck up on me a couple times and left me scrathcing my head.
