Pat: Yeah, that's my favorite too, quiet and secluded; kinda like me  /wrrd%& Thanks for commenting!
rooker1: Thanks, Robin. Took me nearly a week to build it, though  &idea I'm a very slow city builder!
Heblem: Thanks for welcoming page 4! And also, thanks for your nice comment!
Simpson: Thanks, my friend!
bat: Thank you; the parks are always a nice touch when you're dealing with so much concrete and asphalt in an airport.
thundercrack83: WOW thanks! I was looking for my MD in the recently published forum and was going nuts when I couldn't find it. Thanks for the nice surprise!
rooker1: Thanks, Robin! Now I'll have to step up my game and produce more updates!
TheTeaCat: Well, the important thing is that you found it. You can look forward to more awesomeness this month, as well!
Pat: Thanks, Pat! It certainly was a surprise for me!

Update 13- Going Out with a Bang
This will be the final update for the historical city of Dunham. But don't worry; I have something far grander for my next showcased city...

The completed Olympic Park.

These broadcast towers are needed to bring propaganda, err... news and music to our citizens.

An engineering school is shown here; a fitting building.

Another fine example of Bevelle's architecture is the concert hall, shown here.

And now for the overviews:

Congrats for this special award! And that's a wonderful first update there in your special month!

Looking forward to more...

rooker1

I don't think you need to step it up too much.  Your updates are already awesome and this one is no exception to that.
But I would like to see alot more of your city.  ;)

I must say your MD lost my attention after the MD-rearangement, like many others in the crowded recently published section...  I am glad that the staff puts it into the spotlight this month - as it certainly deserves it

Especially the update with the Old School in historic Durham and the Theater district was to my likings! I llike to see the bats of Odd back, especially the one with the S-bahn going trhough, one of my favorites. Also the S-bahn-station-above-Avenue was one of my favorites that you don't see often back in MD's.

I am glad I discovered Belville again

bat: Thanks, man! I'm now ready to show some of my finest work.
rooker1: Well, I want to prove a point; I feel it is necessary to showcase my best work in my special month. I guarantee I shant disappoint!
TheTeaCat: Thanks, my friend! I really hope you like this update.
sebes: Hey, long time no see! Wow, what a flattering post! I, also, like those S-bahn BATs to give the el-rail a different look. Stick around; there's plenty more to come...

Update 14- Big Time
Welcome to the first update for Bevelle's largest city, Aurora! I have showcased some of Aurora's pics in the Picture Competition thread and in the Show us your... threads. So don't be surprised if you see some of your "favorites" here!
Note: All of these shots were taken before I hit the "play" button, so there isn't any traffic or people shown; but they will be there in future updates!

The famed "Aurora" sign welcomes visitors and citizens alike to Bevelle's grandest city.

Since rail is the most important form of travel (after the car) in Bevelle, most people enter the city from Aurora's Rail Station.

One of the many hotels located in the city core.

A fine example of Aurora's power; the imposing Enterprise Tower.

A portion of the 501 Freeway that runs though Aurora is put underground, to maximize the land usage.

Aurora General Hospital provides quality health care for the people.

One of the downtown on/off-ramps for the 501 Freeway.

The CBD.

The same area, this shot take at night.

And now, a couple of mosaics to close out the first update for Aurora:

NAM + CAM + RAM + SAM, that's how I roll....

thundercrack83

Aurora looks stunning, my friend! All the buildings, and the sunken highways are railroads--excellent work! I'll definitely be looking forward to seeing more!

Take care!

Looking forward to more of The Republic of Bevelle! ;)

TheTeaCat

Superb update with many beautiful shots. &apls

Nice to see pics from your tutorials in there too

And as you say the pause was still on so seeing this city teaming with
life in future updates will just add the finishing touch.

nicely done for now though

mightygoose: I'm always inspired by the great Lot Editors here. I'll try my best to keep up with them!
thundercrack83: Thanks! I have a few more areas with sunken transport systems yet to show...
Simpson: Thanks for the compliment! I have toyed around with the idea of using the euro texture mod, but some of the transportation BATs have textures that I can't change (such as the marrast underpass) so I kept the regular textures. Thanks for the suggestion, though!
bat: That pic actually took a while to do; LEing the grass puzzle piece to have the rail catenaries on them. But I'm glad you like it!
TheTeaCat: A couple more pics in this update will also be in the "pause" mode as well, but they will be the last ones!

Update 15- Big City Living

A shot of the complexity of Aurora's transportation system.

An interchange stemming from the 501 Freeway.

The Union Square roundabout.

A look at the density of the downtown area.

This shot is not yet complete, but the next update will show this hotel in all of its glory.

A small mosaic of the construction site.

And now, a preview of what's to come:

Super update Dan.  I don't recognise the building with the road through it.  Where did you get it?  The curved rail looks very good, especially with BuddyBud's walls.
