WELCOME TO PAGE 7!

Great lots there, squidi! Wonderful work on the LE!

Swesim

Wonderful as usual Squidi!
I like to follow Your work both here and in Your LE thread.
I also like the fact that You show screendumps from LE, that gives us readers a better idea of how You have done all these beautiful lots.
Your MD is a great inspiration for me and actually got me started in the LE which has led me to my current airport project in LE.
So thanks a bunch for Your work and for sharing it with the rest of us here!

Hello Squidi, I saw your first pic in another thread, that BAT is beautiful. Great lotting, as well, there is so much detail.  I love the purple (??) trees in the second picture too lol
Lovely job !

Haljackey

Best,

Great work there Paul.  Good to see the LE view as well.  The zip files at the bottom - is that the actual Lot itself?

squidi

hello everyone!
creating textures is going more and more an important part of my city. actually i have used about 70 own standard (no traffic) overlay textures in my city what i think will give it a new and unique style.
most pictures you will see are showning lots that you have seen before.
i am still working on them and that will go on for a while :)

replys:

BlondeTwiggy: i am glad you like the purple trees. it seems that they couse very different opinions, some love them and some hate them  :D
i like the different colors in my city even if i know that they look very extreme

Haljackey:thanks for your visits and replys.

thundercrack83
:in the last update you saw a lot what took me a whole day to relot it and make new textures for it although i thout i have nearly finished it and showed it here.
Now i know more how long i can just work on the same lots to find some new props for it or to do some other things with it :)
but nice to hear you like it
so thanks alot for the reply

bat:thanks for all your visits and replys bat

warconstruct:thanks alot for your comment

paroch:the zips were some textures and not the lot.
i am glad you like the LE views and i will show more of them from time to time.
thanks for the reply

now the new pictures
the area is the main skyscraper district from orlach and i tryd to make a mixture of high density and open spaces to see a bit the lotting
sometimes i realized that i lotted areas where is no possibility to see them but that are even in this areas only a few points

Awesome update my friend.  I love how you remember that there is life behind buildings as well as in front.  The way you have imcorporated the parked cars and loading docks behind the buildings, in the center of the block looks perfect.
Right now this is one of my favourite MDs to come visit.
Great work.

Robin

thanks for your reply robin. i am glad you like the back sides of the bats. its often more fun for me to create the center of a block than the front side.
on the front i always have no idea how to make it more intressting there  :)

1..

2..

here changed a bit :)
3..

4..

as you can see i playd a bit around with gimp but i am more a noob with gimp.
maybe i will try some other things with it later

i also tryd to end my use of TE  lots. in some cases i couldnt resist (the front of the rail station and the highway) :)
i made my own sidewalk mod for this and changed a bit the t21 exemplars but was not really creativ with this yet.
i will see if i can make it a bit more intressting in the future.

rooker1

Very interesting mosaic.  I don't know what to say.  I don't think I have ever seen anything like that.
I think you do very well LOTting the back side of buildings just as well as you do the front.  It's always fun to come see your updates.  Great work my friend, just great.

Robin

That are great two new updates there! And wonderful pictures of that area, too!
Great work on that...

thundercrack83

Wonderful work here, squidi!

I do have a question for you, though: Where can I find that large rectangular building in picture 1 and the large dark grey one in picture 4?

Take care, my friend!

Dustin

thundercrack83

Those are the right ones, thanks, my friend!

And more outstanding pictures!

Dustin
