Great, fantastic pics. Here is a few from Fursan, Qumma (possible upcoming CJ?)

nedalezz, fantastic small town pic.  The first is awesome, the second is artistic, just okay for me and the last, I kinda wish you didn't show it.  I'm not to sure what it is, but it kind of ruins it for me.....hmmm.  Sorry.....just my humble opinion.

Those look beautiful, nedalezz! Keep up the good work!

Nice settlement Nedalezz. I particularly like the compact layout, and the mixture of trees and the way they partially obscure the roads and streets. The foreshore shows really good composition with the merging of the trees, different rocks and water.

The first picture, with the sun, is excellent.

Here's a few pics of the town of Meridian I'm working on.  It's a small town of about 30,000(at least in simcity, in RL it might be closer to 15,000) based around the kinds of things I see in small towns in central and east Texas.

Main Street, with the city hall in the center.

An aerial view of the local High School, with the athletic complex built around it.  The major road on the right side of the pic is Hwy 190, with 21(right in front of the school), coming off of it going to the west.

Founder's Park near downtown, with the County Courthouse in the lower left hand corner.  Oh yea, you can't have a town in Texas without a Sonic and a Dairy Queen(the dairy queen is over near the school, look back at the last picture, top right, look for the red sign.)  Well.... maybe without a sonic.

And an overview.  I'm not a big fan of grids.  ;)

Nice pics chrisadams.  Where did you find that football field?

bat

That pictures is looking very nice, NASCAR_Guy! Great work!

Chrisadams3997

Nascar_guy: I like the little shopping center.  The pic looks just like real life where they've built interstates to bypass the little towns that the old roads used to actually go through.  So the town just builds up to the new road... only thing missing is the plethora of gas stations around the exit.

bwatterud: Didn't find it.  It's a bat project I did several months ago.  Here's an additional shot of it at night, no photoshopping this time:

I almost got around to releasing it, but between not wanting to deal with readme's and such at the time, and after having a few rendering problems with some extra fields I was going to release I gave up on it.  If anyone in here wanted to do the final leg work, I'll send them all the files for it, or maybe I'll eventually get around to it.

That football field is looking very beautiful, Chrisadams3997!

Pytkowski

Well done ;)

bat

Welcome to this site, Pytkowski!

Also great pictures! Wonderful city!

pickled_pig

Great pictures from everyone here.  That football field is impressive both as a BAT and in its scale - it's far bigger than the high school.  I guess that says a lot about the priority of sports over education..?

Here's a shameless MD promotion picture of the center of the town of Oilton, a small NC piedmont town of 7,000 (and growing, because of suburban sprawl)

Chrisadams3997

Wow Pytkowski, those pictures are great.  I like the layout, very representative of a small town.  But my favorite part is the church surrounded by those w2w buildings.  On top of it the photoshopping really brings out the photos.
