-FromTheAshes: the buildings (I think) are what really help to make this canal pic. the canals are nice n their own, but the surroundings really raise the wealth level. I'm not sure what buildings those are, but they look like they belong.

-Bengt: I don't believe I have seen a port built on a canal system in the game before (or maybe I have not been paying attention). Yours looks really good. The cranes hanging over the canal are a nice sight, and you have tied that brown building along the canal (the one that angles inward) very nicely.

           I love all the cranes and loading docks.   Did you customize someones lots?     I have a set or 2 of cranes that look similar but they will only plop if half on "game" water.      Or are these lots I don't know about?

          I see you've managed to tuck a small underground garage in there as well.   Very nice.

          Again you have managed to slip in something new I haven't seen.   LOL    I am guessing that is a custom house with the little dock?    It looks faintly Japanese.     Very nice.

Looks nice Ralph.  I especially like the last shot with all the paddleboats.  Quick critique on the first shot, though.  You sould probably download one of the GLR to Subway transitions, and get rid of the GLR to Elevated to Subway thing.

Really great shot jestarr.     I deffinately liked the barge with towboat .   I never have figured out why they are called tows when they actually push. [ linkie ]    I live along the Mississippi and see these alot.   I hope you don't mind me asking, where did it come from?

Ralph: Looking good, my friend! I love the lake in the middle of the park with the paddleboats, it reminds me of a park not to far from where I grew up in PA. I do agree with bwatterud about the GLR to Subway transition, though. I think a direct transition would look much cleaner than the GLR to EL to Subway method. Just a suggestion, though! Great job!
