Old Downtown Aurora

The CBD of Aurora

Great work. Do I see one-tile end lots for those modified Marrast Dividers there? Are those available anywhere? The lack of such a lot has been killing me (I also happen to be using a tweaked version of the Sandstone Sidewalk mod and have already changed the textures on the dividers).

Yes they are one-tile lots, but sadly, they are not found anywhere on the LEX or STEX. I just modified them in the Lot Editor to fit on a one-tile lot.

He used Lot Editor, advanced lot editing btw.

great cbd's everyone! I particularly like dsrwhat's and squidi's pics. seems like a lot of effort with custom made lots and lots resizing was put in.

@dsrwhat what is that building behind SG's aramark, the one with the road going through it?

bat

Wonderful downtown areas there, @ all!!

And very great big mosaic of your CBD, dsrwhat!!

dsrwhat316, where do you get the sidewalks on the curves and how did you do two textures at once? ()what()
300... 200... 100... 50... 40... 30... 20... 10

Yep, I still got it.

ky72x

frdrcklim: He uses Lot Editor to make custom lots that include overhanging textures that create the sidewalks on the curved roads.  Unfortunately, they aren't available for download, but if you had LE and wanted to make them for your own personal use, I don't think that they would be hard to make.
