*Sigh*...I don't mean to keep bumping threads.  I just finally took some new pictures and I want to show them.

Actually...I went back and redid a couple shots.  Here's Orchard Valley:

And here're the suburbs around Emerald River:

And part of a mosaic:

As you can see, I'm trying to bring Maxis back...

That are wonderful looking pictures of your suburbs @ all!

Cool suburbs, Gretta!  Though I'm not so fond of those parking lots, I do like the placement of those shops.  I have to ask, why is your entire city orange in the city view?  Was everything plopped there?  Just wondering...

Well, I have a couple of pictures:

On a mountain (facing east):

Don't use the back door!:

Finally developed the land south of the Golf Course (facing south):

All right...that's about it for now...

You can see my southern suburbs well in this pic

cammo2003

I've only got a couple of shots, but I think they're not too bad personally.

"Deep" suburbia:

The local CBD (*not* the region's main one!):

Images hosted by ImageShack.

Both of these are actually from the same city tile. And not far from the region's main downtown, which is across the river, in fact. (that's my explanation as for why alot of the development around this core is so "modern". The town itself will be deemed oldish, nearly as much so as the main centre, but because of the river, it won't have developed much.
