TopCliff:  Thanks!  I'm sorry to be dragging up memories of History class, though.  That was always my least favorite subject in school... although now it fascinates me!  Go figure...  ::)

XiahouDun:  Thank you!  I hope the wait won't be too much longer.

Bluebeard:  Strong words indeed... thanks!  I agree... who needs EA anyway?  Let em milk all they can out of the Sims...  :D

Duane:  Thanks!  I have a lot to learn about the western side of our country.  I've been in nearly every state from Minnesota, Iowa on down and east... but west of that is still pretty foreign territory for me.

Ardecilia:  Nah... I'd leave the camp world for a more structured life.  California just happens to be where the company told me I could go.  I will admit that getting more sunshine than Michigan sees will be nice though.  Cold isn't so bad... it's the grey that I'm tired of.

Sim Shady:  That's what I heard to, but I guess I'll find out for sure soon enough.

John:  I can't really compare Texas and California very well.  My only experience with Texas was in the Dallas/Fort Worth area... which I found to be extremely boring and repetitive.  But, that was a single one week trip, so it would be unfair to even judge at this point...  :D

Matt:  Thanks!  I'm considering breaking the walls so they will step up at each section, but I'm not sure.  It adds another set of "issues" if I do so, but that doesn't mean much yet.  Right now, the walls are actually set up as a building with its own custom foundation.  The company I work for is called Taher, Inc... based out of Minnesota.

Pat:  Thank you!  I'm not sure what "I should have..." but I'll try to remember to do so next time...   ???  :D

Thundercrack:  Thank you!

AlfredJones:  Thanks!

Alright... sorry about the sounds of silence around here (hello darkness, my old friend...) but I spent the last couple days feeling pretty lousy.  I think I spent roughly 40 hours asleep over the course of two days.  I can't say as I enjoyed it all that much... but that probably isn't a big surprise to anyone.  Anyway, today I managed to get the law school lit and added a few more finishing touches.

I need to turn the interior lights up just a little bit more, but beyond that I think it worked out.  I have some final details to wrap up yet... including some statues/gargoyles in the front and a couple other things.  I'm not real happy with the chimneys just yet but I'm not entirely sure why.  Outside of those few final things, I think this one is just about done.

If the proposed gargoyles are designed to invoke imagery of lawyers, make sure they look like snakes, vultures and rats! :P

Hey! I love the tag line under your avatar!

:o That is so incredible.  The details are mind blowing.   &apls

Dude that looks amazing. If you're doing a business college, you should check out UTampa's Sykes Business College (One of the highest ranked business colleges) I'll post some picks if you like.
Your signature was TOO BIG and TOO BULKY ... System ADMIN

Try rotating the chimneys 90 degrees. It seems like they take up a fair bit of the width of each section as it is now. They might seem to flow better with the building when rotated. I don't have any suggestions for gargoyle types, but I'm sure you'll come up with something appropriate. When you make the Business and/or Economics building, It would be interesting to see a bull and bear respectively. The lights on the back area of the building seem a bit strong (they look like they are reflecting off of the frames of the doors/windows) but aside from that everything looks great.

AJ:  Thanks!

TopCliff:  T-H-A-N-K-Y-O-U! ;)

Simdad:  I was thinking more along the lines of the justice lady with the scales... but your idea sounds better!  :D

Pat:  Thanks!  I'm glad you like it!

Duane:  Thank you!  I don't really feel guilty... I definitely needed it.  Whatever I had knocked me out for a couple days is all.

Mom:  I thought the signature line was funnier, but what can you do?  :D

Robin:  Thanks!  The details are also starting to really slow this one down.  The previews for this take nearly as long as the previews for Payce/Rooker towers did.

JosefBrisko:  Thank you!  I'll have to do a little searching for that one.  If you have pictures handy, feel free to PM them.

Matt:  I'll try rotating the chimneys.  The lights in back are just hitting the tops of ledges harder than they should be... it should be a pretty easy thing to fix though.  Thanks!

Just a little teaser for the evening...

I won't say what it is just yet... y'all can guess if you want to.  A lot of details will show better when it's textured... but this was just something I started playing with after my last post.  "Extra credit" if you can guess what it's based off of already!  (I'm starting to let this education thing go to my head, aren't I?  I'll knock it off.)

That's either going to be the Main Hall, or some sort of monument thing in the middle of alls this, like that clock tower Ii showed you.

It looks a bit like MSU's Auditorium. The larger version of the pic is too big to show here, but the link is below.

I'll venture a guess that its either the campus stadium or recreation center (has a very similar look and feel to the Notre Dame field and the Joyce ACC).
Current project: Movies 14

You may have meant to search for Houdini. (result of searching for XiahouDun on SC4D)

Oh, I totally agree about the signature line, but the tagline was just so appropriate for what you are doing. Hey, maybe soon you can say "Improving education one meal at a time."

Jon, I think the new "wazzis" is the psychiatric wing of the "home for retired teachers"....or maybe not. ::)
