Here's one I've got.  It's not quite as polished as some other peoples pictures, but I still like it.

It has been quite a long time since I posted any actual pictures from the same city I have been working on for over a year , but I finally am getting to a point where I feel that I am getting somewhere! I still need to fill in a few areas here and there in this small section but , here you go!

I think there's enough W2W in this picture for this thread...! :)

BigSlark

That's a very interesting looking city, Jason. I love the mix of contemporary architecture and historic European W2W. Would you mind telling me about the railway station that's in the middle of your photo? I don't think I've ever seen it before...

Cheers,
Kevin

@Jayson: That's a great asian city full of life! It's just fun looking at it.

And about filling in here and there, let me tell you something: My Sc4 cities and villages are finished if or when I stop playing SC4 (in case that ever happens). If I don't work on a map it means it's on hiatus ... redoing an old map can be much of fun!

IRL cities don't stop to change unless they are dead. As long as you look at a map you'll find something to change or to improve. That's normal. Thats life.

See what I mean?

Yeah, I don't play as much cause every time I fire it up I decide something needs to be changed so the "fill in the blank" looks better. Most of the mods and lots I do , like many come out of being slightly picky at how stuff looks together , so I end up spending more time in Photoshop and reader changing stuff! (Of course while I have photoshop open I occasionally think of a Ban pic  ;D ) Of course , the city I am working on has taken me over a year to get to this point because I am that darn picky!

BigSlark: Thanks for your kind words! That subway station is a real gem, isn't it? You can find it here: http://www.simtropolis.com/stex/details.cfm?id=21204 You might also be interested in some of McDrye's other works. @ Jayson: i love your asia-style city!  :o

Here is my W2W development...

Welcome to South Nimsk ;)

tankmank

I wasn't really sure where to post these but i think that they fit here perfectly

This is Little Africa in Guangzhen, the area is home to over 18,000 Africans.

The area isn't finished yet but i hope you liked what you see

Here's a couple of W2W shots from my MD. Sorry about the undeveloped space surrounding it.

It is supposed to resemble a British High Street.

WC_EEND

well, I've only been to the UK a few times, but I think it resembles (what I remember of it) those high streets quite well. All I would do is use a better looking base texture ;)
RIP Adrian (adroman), you were a great friend

On the other hand, i love the asphalt/concrete texture and spend a lot of time in LE changing lots from the fancy ones!
The street looks really good!

This is downtown Claremont, a city in my current region, New Pannonia:

A closer view of downtown Claremont:

Like many North American style cities, Claremont's W2W section is only in the downtown area.

Wow x-ten, you spent 3 hours plopping all that? That looks good.

I'm the one who jumped across the Grand Canyon... and lived.
