•UPDATE FIVE  SC4D Exclusive: Eagle Island Floods Part Two  3rd FEBRUARY 2008•
(God, I'm like EA aren't I, releasing all these updates in separate parts... :P)

Why not eh? Here's the rest of the images that I made yesterday and didn't have time to post.

Sorry, no time for replies today. They'll be in the next update, thanks for looking guys!  :)

Next update we'll be back to the normal not-so-edited pictures. There's a new area in the pipeline as well as some more of the satellite CBD coming up that I haven't shown yet so stay tuned.
Oh yea, and just quickly before I go, I noticed that four people seem to think that you can delete polls from your threads, would any of those four care to tell me how, thanks in advance- I just can't work out how you do it!

Beautiful two updates, Cockatoo! We're only three days in and you're already making the best use of your time in OSITM!

As for the polls, I can't seem to find a way to delete it either, so who knows? I'll ask around, though! Can't wait for the next update!

Well, I wasn't one of those four, but I know in the polls that I've created in other threads, there are a bunch of options right above the "Quick Reply" box.  The last one of these is "Remove Poll."  I don't know if it's there because I started the thread or because I'm a mod in that specific part of the site, but I know that it's possible ;).

Ding! I saw it and took care of it. Great eye, Isaac!

Very nice Cockatoo, you even have people on the roof in the 4th pic

That soccer (football for our European friends) stadium still has me amused though  :)

Another great update.

Cheers

Dave

Pat Riot

wow! 3 story flood  ;D You put those people up on the roof? I searched for drowning things or dead things but couldn't find any. Guess they are died on higher ground. Impressive work C0ckatoo.

Fantastic new update there! And that's looking so great!

Krio

Flood looks great, but shouldn't the football stadium be underwater too ;)

emilin

First of all: congratulations on the award! &apls

Second: You obviously have incredible picture editing skills - all the shots are extremly well executed. It is also obvious that your building skills are just as good as your editing (very well combined BAT:s in a realistically developed area) so I hope that you will show us some unedited shots in the future too (it's a bit hard to make out all the nice details when the editing is so extensive).

Anyways: Hoping to see much more beautiful pictures from you.

There goes Eagle Island's CBD...:P

This is incredible work! Not only your SC4 skills, but also the Photoshopping stuff.

Pity there aren't ploppable floating furniture, cars, pets, trees and rubbish in general available! Imagine what these new canals would have looked like!
Maybe someone feels challenged?

Antoine

your photoshop is amazing  :o and your city wonderful !!

Cockatoo-210893

This doesn't really even classify an update, these are just some images that I made for my Hong Kong CJ over at ST, and I thought I'd show you guys too.
I'm posting them here because SC4D has a strict one MD at a time rule, so I can't set up Hong Kong over here, but I really want to show them here too. Anyway, here are just some random pics of the Central District photoshopped at night. Enjoy!

threestooges

Let me be the first to say: amazing work. You've nailed the lights, and the overall setup of the buildings seems well planned as well. The only thing I would critique would be the reflection in the water of the second picture. It's a great touch, but for as choppy as that water is, I don't think that the reflection would be visible (or as visible). Exceptionally well done.

warconstruct

it is very pretty!!  &apls I like the effect to bring to the images but could your have an overall picture ?

good works !

to be honest the first pic would have been a much better entty for the show us your downtown thematic tournament....
NAM + CAM + RAM + SAM, that's how I roll....

Some fine pics, 1, 3 & 4 are my favourites.

You really do bring a city together nicely and I enjoy your photoshopping. But I agree with threestooges, there should be no reflection of the building in the second pic. The last pic, well I just don't think that reflection is possible, given the buildings along the shoreline don't even feature.

Don't get me wrong, I couldn't get these sort of effects if I tried, but no matter how great the pic, the oddities always tend to stand out. Having said that, I like the mirror effect, its's just a case of the angle of the dangle ;)

Cheers
