Which China Maps Would You Like To See Released

The new maps there are looking wonderful, blade2k5! Great new work.

blade2k5

Vester - I have the DEM data for Göteborg converted to greyscale, but cannot get the two rivers to show up.  If I lower the elevation then most of the area is underwater which won't work :P...Here's a terraformer overview image....

Anyways, I think you're going to have to either draw the river in with Terraformer, or plop them in.  Also, is this a good size or would you like a larger map of the area?

Casper - Here's an overview of of the Brussels area, will this be ok?  And how is the size?  Too big, just right?

It looks nice, blade2k5; If every white tile means a large tile, it's a tad large tho

Casper, ok, they are large tiles, but to make it a smaller region, I'll have to zoom in one more time when converting the data and you'll get a smaller portion of the area pictured.

Ok, here's the 4th version of Portland and the final.  This time around it's a smaller section of Portland with a narrower river.

And the Portland Oregon map is complete   It's accurately scaled except for the eastern part of the river.  I had to draw it in because the riverbed was the same elevation as the current shoreline.  All that's needed for upload is a readme and then it'll be packaged up.

@ Tarkus:  Just converted new DEM data for 2 Bend Oregon maps.....one is 8x11 lrg tiles and the 2nd is 8x9 lrg tiles in size.  Have to do the elevation compression with sc4tf yet and then I'll be able to post some pics for ya

@ bakerton: I also got the data for the Racine-Kenosha area of Wis and that one will be a 5x6 lrg tile map   Hope the size is ok, Wis is a tough state to map.....the elevations are tricky to get right. I still have to do the elevation compression with sc4tf yet, but after that, I'll post an overview pic if it works out.

Completed Maps/Ready 4 Upload [maps listed in italics are small enough for 2-paks.]

1. Gary Indiana
2. Mt. Jefferson Oregon
3. Mt. Whitney Ca.
4. Morro Bay Ca.
5. Portland Oregon

Be back soon with more updates.

Racine-Kenosha Wisconsin....This one looks flat, but there are subtle elevation variations...

Oh whew Blade2k5, Brussels looks really awesome now! Those slight depressions look awesome for putting plopped rivers in! The Racine-Kenosha area looks wonderful aswell, so do the other ones!

Noticed you uploaded Adelaide on the STEX.

For boring Australian cities, it'd be nice to see, say, either Brisbane or Canberra made.

Yeah, meant to upload Adelaide to the STEX the day it was uploaded to the LEX, but got called into work and by the time I got back home, had forgotten about it until yesterday.  Anyways, Brisbane and Melbourne + Sydney Perth...in fact the whole darn continent of Australia will be mapped   Oh, where exactly is Ayers Rock located? ;)

Thanks to all for the support and feedback, it's appreciated
