Sure this has been asked (and probably answered) elsewhere, but I can't find a valid explanation: I want to clean house and thus tidy up the plug-in folder at the same time. I understand (hopefully correctly) that the order of loading is important and goes something like:
1) ..\Plugins\.. files
2) ..\Plugins\.. folders in alphabetical order as determined by the OS

Now folks like the BSC team tend to install their stuff below ..\Plugins\BSC\<creator_name>. Great, wish everyone did that. Thus I want to re-create that system using the functionality as a Leitmotif (eg. Civic, Utility, etc.).

My question is (finally): will that mess up existing regions? Or damage the game altogether?

And while I am at it: is there a limit to the number of icons the in-game plop menu can handle? Because I seem to have lost custom content clearly visible in the cities but no longer actionable on the Reward menu..?!

No - it does not matter in what folder the files are - the game will find them. However, I strongly suggest to keep the BSC, CSX, SFBT and Simgoober folder structures as they are, as they use autouploaders to update files in the specified file paths. Maybe that goes for other teams as well..

Maybe this is a stupid answer but, some rewards can only be build once... so if they are shown in your city it makes sense that they are no longer actionable on the reward menu.
Or maybe you do not longer qualify for the reward, for example because your stats dropped. I have never heard that the number of icons has reached its maximum....

There are no stupid answers - only stupid questions: in this case mine! I phrased that wrong  %confuso. What I meant to say is that certain icons have altogethr disappeared, although the respective files are still in the plug-in folder (Shmail's fachwerk collection, for example, I can see four on the menu, but seven are installed and used to be available).

And:bedankt. For setting my mind at ease about the re-order. I'll leave the standard teamfolders where they are..
