I don't know if this idea has been brought up before but i think it would be great to have a puzzle piece for the in-avenue glr to go underground and connect to the subway network. i made this quick model in 3ds max (please ignore the horrible textures) to illustrate the point.

does anyone know if it's possible?

I don't know if it's possible,but that's looking real nice

Xyloxadoria is presently working on such a transition (see this thread).
We may have two such lots (they have to be lots) to choose from, but maybe we can motivate you to bat the opposite: a transition from tram-in-avenue (2 tiles wide) to elevated light rail next to avenue (one tile ELR next to two tiles avenue)?

i'm not sure this is what you meant, but i made this with standard glr puzzle pieces

is this what you meant?

No. I mean a transition of GLR track to elevated light rail track inside the avenue, then a diagonal crossing of elevated light rail over oneway road to a third tile where normal elevated light rail can be connected.
