Hello Nerdly Dood,

Everytime I come here, I feel like a little boy in the middle of a new toy shop !

But I've got a question : when do you plan to upload all the nice stuff you show us here ?

I'd really like to upload them very soon but I can't get in-game screenshots without being able to play SimCity, so due to a corrupted CD that makes it impossible to install the game I've been waiting for a chance to go out and buy a new copy of it. Until then I'll be unable to make sure my mods actually work, so official releases will be impossible.

However, I can certainly make unofficial releases - I have attached three of the four French police car mods I intend to release - the fourth, the older paint job of the National Police, requires a bit of extra modification which I'm finding hasn't been working well, so I'll release that one whenever I can finish it - hopefully very soon. This one will be unofficially released along with the two ambulance mods.

As always, you can only use one mod a time or else there will be conflicts that degrade game performance, and may actually crash your game - so keep track of which police car mods you're using to avoid future headaches.

I must warn you - I haven't tested these in-game and am unable to, so I recommend trying these out first in a test city to make sure they work. Download only if you're willing to be the first ones to test them.

I've tested the 3 cars and I found no problem using them , the lightbars are OK, the police stations parking lots are filled, the car can be use with UDI missions, etc.

Since I'm there and because I've made a small trip to Morocco, I take a couple of pics of a Moroccan "SURETE NATIONALE" (National Security) police van. The police cars have exactly the same paint scheme. Those police vehicules are realy interesting because the lightbars are actually Green and Red.

While the Arabic "SURETE NATIONALE" title is red, the French one has the same green than the lines one the front and the rear of the van.

I'll see what I can do about the Moroccan police vehicles. And about the unusual lights - Police vehicles in Puerto Rico commonly have blue and green lights - and i'm not sure why this one has text in English, considering that Spanish is the primary language in Puerto Rico:

Well searching for a Monroe County Squad I found this one,

While I was testing your French Police cruisers, I realize that there's no van to fit with. So if you can , here are the pics I found for a Gendarmerie van (all of those vans have black tinted windows) :

It's been my intention to create a van to match every police car that I make - so from now on most of my skin making will be concentrated on vans (apart from the Morocco police vehicles - that is the one last car I'll probably be making)

I do have future projects in mind that would include new cars, however...

I've actually been rather reluctant to use Mikeseith's vehicles - in retrospect it was rather unwise to use his Renault Laguna for the Police Nationale car i have released already because although I gave him credit, I didn't notify him or ask permission beforehand. I intend to have a lightbar on every new vehicle that I release that would naturally have one, and one with the most configurations possible - meaning I'll add the lightbar I have on the latest police car model to other vehicles. That way it would be the least amount of work if I just keep using the standard Maxis police van I intend to add the lightbar to soon, as well as being a safe alternative to using the someone else's work without their permission. (I'm not sure I would receive a reply if I asked him though - AFAIK his ST account has been inactive for quite some time)

I do have many of his models available to use though...

I understand your opinion regarding Mikeseith's vehicules. It's a pity the guy disappear because his models were very good in shape and in detail.

At least, I hope the link I put above will help someone discover his work .
