Very nice update!

I love all the buildings. They all look great in their surroundings! Parliament Building looks quiet like SF Town Hall  :D

Keep up the great work!

Beautiful buildings and nice landscaping - good work, Craig! Before the era of custom content, I always tried to at least plop a couple of flowerbeds in front of the Maxis City Hall, but look at the government centers we have now. Amazing! I'm especially fond of the buildings with a hidden plaza in the center. Glad to see a few Sims milling about, too.

One thing puzzles me, though. What about parking or mass transit facilities near the civic buildings? Those are open and ongoing subjects among our team members since parking areas often take up more space than the buildings they serve here in America. In the UK, however, mass transit is the transport mode of choice. Just wondering how that works in Ireland.

You're doing a good job - keep it up!

In a shocking move today, King Donaill has dissolved the Parliament of the KPI. Some may argue that events have been steadily moving in this direction, with increasing support for republican groups among citizens, but nobody speculated events accelerating this quickly. While little or no information has reached the people of Paranor Island about this event, it has been widely reported in foreign media.

World leaders are now waiting to see what the next move by King Donaill will be and will he acknowledge the situation is happening. Not many countries are expected to criticize the King, as he technically has all power in Paranor, only letting Parliament run the country on his behalf.

Sorry if all my comments sound the same but there's only so many ways you can say thank you lol

Simpson: Merci :)
art128: Thanks Arthur.
paroch: Thanks, hope to see more of you here.
mrtnrln: Appreciate it.
bat: Glad you like
Sheep49: Thanks Piotr, but 'SF Town Hall'?
Jmouse: Thanks for the comment. In my city (as in my SC4 one) I have underground car parks in the area. In Dublin, public transport isn't the best (but we're working on it) so I haven't the foggiest idea how all the people that work in the city centre travel. There are a number of car parks, but the city council limits the number of how many new ones can be built so people take public transport. That, however, may only apply to things like shopping centres, lots of businesses may have small car parks...then again I know a lot of them don't. There are a few spaces outside Leinster House (where the Irish parliament meets) but not enough for the 166 TDs. So to be honest, I'm left fairly confused about my own city now lol

A belated congrats on your OSITM award! The photoshopping done here is excellent, as well as the city planning. I love seeing all the open plazas and parks spaces.

Looks like a good storyline is building here. Wonder how the people will take to this news?

Another two embassies, in the one building. Each half of the picture is a link to the CJ of the nation (except I can't find a CJ for Tongolia) :)

Also made a passport for the country :)

drswhat316: Thanks a lot Dan, you can expect people won't be too happy :)
Sheep49: Thanks Piotr, I should hopefully have another story update this weekend, but I have a new book to distract me :)
mrtnrln:Appreciate it.
art128: Thanks.
Earth Quake: Ha ha, the way that was written sound more like a demand than a request  :D

dsrwhat316

Nice work with the embassies. I like the clean, modern look to those buildings. Still waiting for the rest of the storyline, but you enjoy that book!

WOW......
Super update.  There are quite a few BATS there that I don't recognize.  Where do you usually go for your custom content?
One suggestion that I would like to offer would be to try and add more life to your custom LOTs.  MOre people, cars and that sort of thing.  Otherwise I think what you have so far is very good.
I look forward to seeing what you have for us next.

Robin

More turbulent times in Paranor as the the monarchy continues to fight for more control of the country's citizens.  Republican leader Stewart Johnson this week again called on the the powers that be to put an end to their ''tyrannical campaign'' and start moving towards a democracy.

Staying here under an alias at the Stardust Hotel in Killeshan, Johnson was declared ''an outlaw and terrorist'' by the Minister for Justice, Lord Jackson.  Lord Jackson blamed Johnson for the death of King Alfred as well as other militant incidents. In reply, Johnson declared his wish to have a peaceful move towards democracy but said paramilitary action by his group may be inevitable. Johnson, followed by supporters from Killeshan organized a protest outside of the Civic Offices.

Although the protest turned violent when police and army arrived, Johnson escaped to fight another day.

GreekMan: Thanks, I hope so too.
mrtnrln: I wish, I did none of them I'm afraid, just some of the lotting :)
art128: Thanks Arthur
Rooker: I get my stufff rom all over the place, but re-lot a lot of it. I understand what you mean about adding life to them, I suppose I'm just lazy :D
bat: Glad you like it.
Simpson: Thanks as always.
