Your watertowers are great in my game, they now tower over the small rural cities i have built. The tinman towers are the most different and usefull additions, specifically because they are unlike anything else offered and yet so common in real life.

The only problem with now having such great looking dirty industrials is that the buildings are so good I don't want to lose them for the more mundane factories that can come after, lol. Decisions decisions.

Acme Castings is my next industrial. The pictures below are just a beta lot that grew as a stage 3 Rush Hour. A Rush Hour version will either sit on a 4X4 or 5X4 lot. There are a couple of small imperfections of the pictured lot. And the delivery truck may stay, go, or be downsized a bit. The building should be in the hands of the BSC scrutineering team before the weekend is out.

Two CAM versions will grow as stage 5 and 6.

That's really top-notch work. The textures are really great and it fits its lot well. I have only one tiny, tiny little commnent. If you you look at the corner towers, on the front two they're solid right to the top, but the two on the back of the building are open on the very top section. It looks odd to see the roofline going down through them!

That is one awesome industrial building!  Nice prop arrangement, especially in the rear.  I really like that delivery truck, and I do hope that it stays on the finished product.  However, it does look a little big.  Try comparing the size of it to some semi truck props.

Keep up the excellent work!

Great work! The textures fit the building very well. I also like the truck coming out of the building. This gives some extra life to the building.

The brickwork is as always exquisite and as for that corrugated roof, well, its got that perfect tinge of old rust laced with all the environmental pollutants that casting can produce, great work as ever.  &apls

woohoo... lots keep cascading out!! *rushes off to new LEX updates* :)

edit: Hmm.. after I ran your "remove list" and  installed your latest releases DatPacker reported the following dups. Is it possible a version of these should have been on the "remove list"?

Hey SC4Boy

I thought about that. Both uploads use that same prop. Including the prop with the Bender Building would make  Bender an external dependency for the Refrigatory. Those who only want the Refrigatory will have to download an unwanted Bender building if they also want the delivery truck prop.

It is the same prop and it is a small file. So - I thought the best way was to include it inside both uploads. It deploys to the same location. So the second install will overwrite the first and there should be no duplicates. The only got-cha is if the user moves files around to suit their own folder system. Then one could have a duplicate and that is a scenario that I didn't consider at the time.

Thanks for the positive feed back. It is appreciated. I do try to keep things as simple as I can but sometimes ...  &mmm

Rediculous!!! There is no such thing as an "unwanted JMyer building"!! :)

Sounds good to me.. maybe some day in some megapak.. hehe

Here are some in game snaps of my recent bat efforts. Some three story commercial offices. They are designed to grow at or about the same time as the Maxis Bennet Music. Bennet was growing a lot in my cities. (by the way - Bennet Music is the maxis building in the lower right corner of that first picture)

I now have variety and your cities will too!

This will be a short testing period as they growing nicely in my test cities. Oh... Perhaps within a week or two.

On the LEX now. Enjoy!

Thanks for providing something overlooked. That is generic looking buildings. Cheers

dude.  did anyone ever tell you you're a god with textures?

lol  ;D

Hogmeister

I think these are great additions to the game; they give variety to a building group that hasn't had much up till now.
