Coming Soon...
After working on Tyne for nearly three months, I decided to explore other parts of my region. I am not stopping work on Tyne; this is merely a preview of a new city that I will be working on when Tyne is finished (or finished enough):

Again, this is an extremely rough sketch, but you'll see where I'm going with this (I actually have a bit more completed than shown in this pic). An update will come as soon as the creative juices get flowing again...

Nice City!!!!, Is it an american style city, or a european style city?? ???
Cities will have tall buildings, and rural areas will have farms and power lines.

Dan, I'm a bit late, but well done on OSITM  &apls. Some great updates since my last visit and that latest glimpse of things to come, well, I can't wait to see the end result.

Cheers

Looking forward to more from that nice area... ... ... ;)

This looks like the beginning of another beautiful city, as all of yours that I've seen have been.  I'm guessing that you are going to use the avenue curves to form concentric rings.  So far, I would say that this area is Euro, since the building looks more Euro than American to me.

rooker1: The more I look at, the more I see your point. It does seem rather silly to have the highway there. We'll call that a mistake on the part of Tyne's city planners  ;). Thanks for your honest comment!
metarvo: Welcome to The Source, my friend! I now realize that wasn't the best city planning on my part, but I'll leave it for now. Glad you like the textures; they are a pain to get them right!
sithlrd98: Just to texture one of the smooth curve pieces can take me about half an hour; constantly going back and forth between the LE and SC4. Plus, now that I learned how to put props on resized lots, it takes even longer! Thanks for commenting, Jayson!
caspervg: Well, I do  :P! I never want to update with sub-par work, so that's why it always takes me so long put out one. Thanks for dropping by!
art128: Thanks, Arthur!
Sheep49: Heh, thanks Piotr! Nice to see that the update was up to your standards !
Simpson: Thank you very much!
sebes: I wanted to have a "trademark" in my MD, so using the sandstone texture everywhere was one of them. Once I got my hands on the FARR/FAR, I couldn't leave it alone, as you can see. Thanks for commenting, my friend!
tankmank: Thanks!
bat: Nice to see you aren't disappointed I only put out one mosaic. Thanks, my friend!
Earth quake: Thanks much, my friend!
Sheep49: Thanks, Piotr; more is here!
Simpson: Thanks!
Earth quake: Thanks again, my friend!
art128: Thanks again, Arthur!
bat: Glad you like it!
supercity124: It will be a mix of European and American (as everyone else said  ;)). Thanks for commenting!
M4346: You're right; and welcome to The Source!
Simpson: Many thanks, my friend!
art128: Glad you liked it, Arthur!
Pat: He was indeed correct. Thanks for dropping by, Pat!
tooheys: Nice to see you again, Dave! Thanks for the belated congrats and I hope to see you back soon!
bat: That teaser won't be elaborated on for quite awhile. I just posted it to pique people's interests
metarvo: You're partially right; the center point is the cathedral, but after that, I still haven't figured out what I'm going to do next. Just stay tuned.... $%#Ninj2
south park:Thanks, friend!

Awesome updates!! Is it possible to see an overall view of Tyne? I'd like to see the routes of your canals.

I am impressed by the fact that you have built some diagonal areas, Dan.  Better yet, you have proficiently disguised the jagged edges to the point where I second-guessed myself on "What's diagonal here?"  The underground parking lot entrance also looks good, and you are continuing to use the sandstone texture in an effective manner.
