Shadow Assassin

A wonderful job. Two things, though: make the dam wall shallower (less of a concave sorta look), and add some extra crap on top of it, like for instance, maybe a building or something, it doesn't need to be very big or anything. Unfortunately, since SC4's limited to a grid, we can't really have the road follow the curvature of the dam.

I modelled that wall specifically with those curves in order to get a more natural look in the game ... if you dont want the curve then use the PEG wall.

Here are some examples of how that "curve" makes this dam work well in SC4.

You cannot do this with the PEG wall ...

Oh my (insert deity of personal choice)!    That is (insert expletive of choice) incredible.   Very realistic.   I live on the Mississippi River and I have seen these alot. [ linkie ] [ linkie ]    These will be a great addition to any city with a river.    I will have to figure out how to build the system of locks along side the dams.    I am waiting patiently for the release of this wonderful set.    Fantastic job!

Yowza, Jeroni . . . that's absolutely amazing.  Here in the northwestern US, we have tons of dams, particularly along the Columbia and the Snake Rivers.  I'm very excited about this project, and am also patiently waiting the release. ;)

that's a very convincing model,  &apls
but it is way to dark inside - even on the entirely black background it is almost completely black in-between the water outlets. You should either tune your materials to compensate of think on the new lighting...
