I recall that Lufthansa also painted one of her 727s in her new (present) colors in th early 1990s, just prior to phasing them out. Any chance of a new coloured LH 727 coming?

And yes, the blue could be a touch darker...

The Eastern 727 is perfect! Gorgeous...and absolutely the way their Whisper Jets looked.

The Lufthansa...does need to be a touch darker. It looks really good as it is, but the actual color is darker...

Sorry to post so late in the process, but I thought this project was defunct, so I´m happy to see that it is still alive.
If possible I would very much like to see a Sterling version of the aircraft as well.

Thanks for the input, it's kind of hard to figure out what the real color is because in some photos it's lighter and in some it's darker. I'm satisfied with the color now, so here's the final Lufthansa livery:
