I love your monorail right beside your main road/highway. That is exactly how it is a lot of places.

The port is lovely, the downtown is lovely.

Outstanding update, Luca! The region shot looks great, as do the pictures of the downtown area with the canal snaking through! And I love the nuclear power plant, too, it looks quite realistic. Can't wait to see more!

Luca-  It's been way too long since I commented.

I really enjoyed the last update- you've captured that somewhat "gritty" feel of a lot of industrialized Euro-cities.  But there's lots of grandeur, a little faded maybe, amidst the grime.  I really like the "two-eyes" roundabout scheme in pic 2- that's very evocative of places I've been "over there."

One thing, please convert the pictures from png to jpg.

The last pictures have a size of 744 kb, as converted to jpg the size is down to 100 kb (Quality setting at 65%).
You can use IrfanView to do the converting.

the problem is I let imageshack do the resize work... so the image quality is not really goood  Net time I'll use paintshot to di the resizing

Great region and ineresting way of development. Good work!

I especially like your industrial area with the power plant (5.12), also closeups 5.13 and 5.16

I agree with dedgren (his notice about "gritty" feel of a lot of industrialized Euro-cities). Yes, it is common, but especially in Italy I have very specific impression seeing industrial areas and engineering structures in beautiful surrounding (Torino, Bolzano, Val d'Aosta).

If you want, you can turn off "no job" and other signs using SC4 Extra Cheats Plugin (I don't remember when have I downloaded it from, but I am sure many others know where is it - and if you want, I can look for it).

Also, you have two easy ways to resize your pictures and save them as jpg:
1. clip2pic - an excellent small program made by wouanagaine; You open it, than open the game and make pictures by clicking print screen. Pictures are saved as jpg. In option you can choose the target folder (very helpful) and picture's size.
2. IrfanView - to resize existing png's and convert them to jpg.
