Recreate New York

I stumbled upon site -> click!, and thought it would be useful for someone that intends on, or is busy, recreating New York City (more specifically Manhattan Island).

It features layers that are added to a "transparent New York" tracking settlement, development and zoning.

I hope you can find some use for it!

It wasn't a landfill like where all the trash is collected, as that would have screwed up the ecosystem there (even though it's screwed up now ), they used excess dirt/soil (most likely from building the subway system) to add in new land around the island.
