News:

The SC4 Devotion Forums are no longer active, but remain online in an archived, read-only "museum" state.  It is not possible for regular members to post or use the private messaging system, and no technical support will be provided for any issues pertaining to the forums in their current state.  Attachments (those that still work) are accessible without login.

The LEX has been replaced with SC4Evermore (SC4E), and SC4E maintains an active Discord server.  For traditional forums, we recommend Simtropolis.

One Quick ?

Can I delete all the installed .jpgs in my plugins folder? They seem to take up space. It won't matter if i delete them, will it?

Go ahead and delete them - it will only affect gameplay by decreasing loading time. ;)
My days here are numbered. It's been great and I've had a lot of fun, but I've moved on to bigger and better things.

I suggest you using SC4DatPacker by wouanagaine
http://sc4devotion.com/csxlex/lex_filedesc.php?lotGET=26

This auto packs your plugins into dats (also removes unecesary files as like the images, html, etc) and your game loads much faster.

ok...i will download it now...thanks! :)

If you're using BSC downloads from the LEX, readme files and images will be placed into a LEX_Downloads subfolder of your SimCity 4 folder (not inside the plugins folder). If you want, move those files into said folder, in case you want get back to them as a reference. If the readme files are placed into a special subfolder (like the SFBT_Readme folder), you can use the SC4 Startup Manager to disable this folder in your regional profiles.
