CSX Farms Volume 1 Has a Critical Failure

This is a good example of why people give up on this game.

Colyn has "CSX Farms Volume 1" on the LEX. It has a gazillion dependencies and the most critical of all of them is an empty file (the first file of 4, in the 1st dependency.)

This farm set is the ONLY download I have - and after hours of work, I get a brown box. And I see from the comment box, the problem is not new. DOES ANYONE FOLLOW UP ON PROBLEMS HERE?

People do indeed follow up on problems here, however they typically don't do it from the LEX comments, issues such as yours are typically handled in the "LEX Support" or "BSC Support" forums.

I agree this pack has a gazillion dependencies, but they're all dependencies that you'll use again and again and again as your download more content from the LEX. Specifically, which download was empty? I've downloaded all of them previously from the LEX and I don't think there are any empty zips.

I've also noticed there's no Cleanitol dependency file for this release, I'll whip one up when I get home from work at around 3 p.m. CST.

Finally, please have a more polite tone when you're posting here. The Administrators and Moderators run a tight ship at SC4D and don't take kindly to shouting. Its part of why this is such a nice place to play and I'd like you to enjoy your time here too.

I have just downloaded the first dependency file BMD Farm Fields. All four zips in the download have install files in them and none are "empty".
You actually do not need to install anything apart from the fields from that download but the fields MUST be installed as any farm in the CSX/SG/BLS/BMD farms can use any field from any pack. That is why it is a critical download.
Please do not come here complaining about dependencies, though. We have tried to make things as simple as possible for you by providing links to the files for most of the uploads on the LEX. 
If you really want you could consider donating at least 25€ towards the cost of the site and be sent the DVD with all dependencies plus a lot, lot more on it.
