how do i make custom freight truck automata??

What I am after, is some freight truck automata with a LINFOX theme. I have very limited skills but i would love to learn how to make custom automata.

LINFOX trucks are a very common sight on Australian roads, LINFOX being one of the largest logistics/transport companies in Australia.

I have a number of questions:

1. Is it possible to 're-skin' (i think thats the term) one of the maxis freight trucks, or will I have to make the truck from the ground up? Here is a RL pic of what i'd like to recreate:


2. How?

3. If i am able to 're-skin' one of the maxis trucks, will ALL the trucks in the game be re-skinned to the new design?

I am not really concerned about the truck itself, I'm more interested in the appearance of the trailer.
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
