Only recently have I realized the potential of the dual network (elevated rail over road) for crowded cities. However, the base texture of the road underneath is the default Maxis sidewalk; a rather large eyesore when put next to the sandstone or asphalt sidewalks I have a tendency to use. Is there a way to edit these puzzle pieces to match the sidewalk mod I am using?

Any help is appreciated. :)

Presently the only way to change the texture is to make a texture patch which will then alter all instances of that sidewalk or you have to go in and patch each nam piece with the texture you want. That is directly alter the models. However that is quite a complicated process since it involves editing the models directly. The sidewalks are part of the model. You may take interest in my pet project over here which involves both sidewalks and elrail. The pieces you speak of are as of yet modded for proper sidewalks but there is a great possibility this will changed soon. Check out my thread here. http://sc4devotion.com/forums/index.php?topic=2913.0 Warning do not hold your breath for a final release. This stuff is still in the development stage and is quite time consuming.
