Imagination VS Reality

-I hope this is the right place to ask the following......it is a question that i always had in my mind , and wanted to ask.....So , i would like to ask , if your regions comes completely from your imagination , or from real places in RL , or finally is it a mix of those two above?...I hope to see some answers , and i will expain why i ask so...thanx

My regions are usually from my imagination, although there are always things that I steal form the real world.

This is the region I am working on right now.
It's called Adoorn, a cityname resembling the real citynames of Apeldoorn, Doorn and Odoorn. It's layout is very loosely inspired on Rotterdam, with a kind of Hamburgish/Venetian like citycentre with a lake and islands.


And, VeTram, how is your port project doing?

Imaginia (the name says it all) is a imaginary country. I'd prefer imaginary regions above real region. Nevertheless, I use real life construction concepts.

Imagination. I made my regional landscape randomly. However I had my city long planned before making it come to life long before SC4. It has been a dream come true. Rarely, I will replicate real places to make a point though.
