I recieved the sc4d dvd and loaded and it appears to have brought the loading if sim city down to a halt takes a long time to load.  is there a way to work around this problem.

You've just added approx 4GB of custom content...of course it's going to take longer to load.
The trouble with having an open mind, of course, is that people will insist on coming along and trying to put things in it
