sorry for my bad english

you can have as many folders as you want within the plugins folder.  So inside the main plugins folder, you could have a folder called Simgoober, for example, where you put lots made by Simgoober.  Inside that folder you could have more sub-folders for different Simgoober sets: a folder for the canal set, a folder for schools, a folder for water towers, etc.

My Packed Plugins folder is currently 5.6 gigs, yikes ! No wonder the game typically hogs 700mb of RAM whenever I run it.

4.71 Gb, datpacked. I like a lot of stuff...  :D
The game takes about 10/15 mins to start and 5/10 mins to load a large city (the only ones I work on :))

Oh boy, two weeks ago it was 2.8 GB. Now it's 3.02 GB. I always wanted to limit it to 3 GB and I exceeded it. I hope I can maintain it. The plugins folder is bigger than the game. What's up with that. ()what()
300... 200... 100... 50... 40... 30... 20... 10

Yep, I still got it.

LOL. Actually, I wanted to limit it to 2 gigs. Now that it reached 3 gigs, I will revise my limit to 3.5 gigs  ;D.

BTW, to be honest, last year, I was doing more downloading than the actual playing.

It is at about 10.5 gb's that my game actually crashed for the first time and lagged quite a lot at rushhour time, when I realized that I had too much stuff in my two plugins folders. The one in C:/Programfiles/Maxis/Simcity4 had about 1.4 gb's, holding only the mods from a terrain mod to the NAM etc. But it is the MyDocuments/Simcity4 that had some 9. something gb's that gave me problems.
I started cleaning it out, that was 3 months ago and today I am still not finished, still having 7.5 gigs in it and continuing cleaning.....oh geeeeez, what did I do to get all those lots, props, textures etc?............ I probably have every lot available or maybe not available anymore in my pluginsfolder.lol
If you're looking for a specific lot that is not available anymore, ask me, I probably have it......lol (I am serious)

Mine is only about 1.5gb!  (I'm not sure exactly, but it's nowhere near 2gb yet, let alone 10gb...my entire hard drive is 40gb, and half of that is taken up bo operating-system files! (Windows Vista is rather hard-drive intensive, at least as far as my computer is concerned)
My days here are numbered. It's been great and I've had a lot of fun, but I've moved on to bigger and better things.
