~700 mb right now. I try to avoid going over 1 GB

when I download, I try to pick out only things I absolutely know I will use. If it doesnt get built, It gets deleted

As every good lego builder knows if you take out every piece you only think you may need out of the bin and put it by your side, all you end up with is a big disorganized mess on the table/floor
... And being that lego builder with the big mess around him, I can say with certainty that of my 1.28 GB I probably don't ever use a third of it more than once or twice...

El Burro

I've downloaded about 4.5GB's worth of Plugin but i'm only using 2GB at the moment (only...)

I have many MANY copies of my plugin folder kept in safe place incase I screw something up... plenty of Hard Drive space [400GB] so no worries ()stsfd()

Mines only 31.5mb, all I have is Industry x4, NAM, a custom marina and a pedestrian bridge+toll

I need to download some more stuff!

Buildings: 83MB
CSX: 44MB
Deadwoods: 33MB

Now I've officially passed the 1 gig mark. It's 1.19 GB after DatPacker. The three biggest sub-folders are...

BSC: 375 MB
NDEX: 208 MB
Simgoober: 175 MB

While most of the files aren't even being used in my cities, they will be used heavily once I start building the suburbs. (I'm a plop-freak when it comes to suburban areas of cities).
After a long absence, I'm back! And I will be starting a new MD soon.

flame1396

about 666mb

however i'm sure in the dependencies section there are lots of repeats

1.75 GB, uncompressed now. I blame it ENTIRELY on BSC!  ;D

Mine is a pathetically low 116MB. And I think it needs a cleanout, ive got loads of lots  i never use, but not gonna say which ones for fear of upsetting any creators. Theyre good lots, but i just download on impulse and never use them.

I need the SC4 terraformer, not sure if its a plugin or not. Anyone gotta link for one?
Just Because im incomplete, doesn't mean i'm obsolete.
BAT Thread coming soon, possible MD even!

HabLeUrG

well... i have my plugins everywhere in my computer, but not sure in total the size...

currently in my plugins folder a have 4.5 gigabytes of plugins... but most are repetitive  ;D

Khiyana

HabLeUrG: Woahh, 4.5 GB of plugins....
I have 2,37 GB of plugins in 369 folders, and I have to make a complete clean-up (Uhh, I'm afraid of doing this!)

ky72x

1.4 GB in 1,330 folders.

BSC - 292 MB
NDEX - 296 MB
SimGoober - 118 MB

XiahouDun

And I used to think mine was huge... 714mb in 2294 files.

264mb BSC (I blame the locked lots on ST >.>)
38mb NDEX (haven't really gone through all their stuff yet though, so likely to raise)
170mb Simgoober
Current project: Movies 14

You may have meant to search for Houdini. (result of searching for XiahouDun on SC4D)

bat56

I have 2.65GB in my plugin folder.

But I never use all at the same time, even if the datpacker very changed the game play.

meldolion

Well, I achieved last week the 2.0Gb threshold.....

Pheonix Rising

2.6gb before i trimmed out a few plops (rarely plop) and 2.61 after i deleted some plops and added some more lots. 7402 files in 1579 folders. Dat packer managed to trim this down to 2.55gb, 94 files in 2 folders (did not pack zzz or mml folders). Total plugin in count though if installed would push close to 5-6gb or more unpacked. Main problem is getting japanese lots remade for english.. any any other lots language into english.

Game load 2-3 minutes city load in around a minute so far. Would be a lot faster if i was on my other comp :( ATA 300 drive and a faster proc

zzsim

Currently 1.86 gb  &mmm .  Thank goodness I upgraded to 2 gigs of ram otherwise it would take me 10 minutes to load the game  :P .

ExiLe

mine is 511 MB (536 584 109 byte) containing 282 folders... + 50Mb in the plugins folder in the games/sc4deluxe/plugins folder.

I don't want to have it much larger than it already is, I have like 3 or 4 different plugins folders (backups) on different computers and on a backup drive... I think I have found a good mix now of mods and files... oh and btw, dependancies in my plugins folder only take up 10 mb or so :P

take care,
...coming soon
