I somehow found out about this thread. Not only can I tell you the size (432 MB so far), I have a picture from my MD.

xxdita

5.70 GB (6,123,307,008 bytes)

And that's just what's actually in my Plugins folder right now. Nevermind the Works In Progress, old scrutineering files, and at least 2GB of files I need to run through PIMX still, before I can use them. Not to mention about a year's worth of LEX downloads to catch up on still...

But I think my Plugins are long past due for an overhaul anyway...

Pat

ahh Nate you will do just fine catching up ;-)

Mine has hit 3.1 gb and it's just too unwieldy now. Opening my parks menu is now a 5 second affair each time. I think it's time for an overhaul.

Jmouse

A modest 1.5 GB following a complete overhaul from the ground up. Although there are currently 3,756 files in 812 folders, I'm proud to say the clutter is gone. I can find any file I need pretty quickly, including the README docs that came with it. Those, along with the original downloads, are stowed in indexed files outside the plugin folder, of course! :)

An efficient 1.69GB... Including all of my beta's, new models, broken .DESCs and the like...

I revamped the whole folder in September, and I only add what I need... when I need it.

I'll let y'all when I get to 3GB  :P

Havva good one,
Adrian.
737s, Air Force, Australia... what next?

Ummm.....6.8 gigs.  Wow.  Didnt realize mine was that big.  It was just under 4gigs about a month ago but everyone is making great quality BAT's that I just have to have.  I think I will dive into the folder and do some house cleaning.

549MB, but i have nothing that would do for any settlement larger than a village so far..
NAM + CAM + RAM + SAM, that's how I roll....

Cyclone1001

850MB after dat-packing. This is from three months of downloading, so it will be over 1GB by Jan 5.

After a break from the game for nearly two years, I've rediscovered the fun of it... and the dangers of this (and related) websites.  :-[  My plugins folder is fast nearing the 2gig mark again -- I think I have something like 12 gigs of files stored on my HD.

It's a nasty cycle, really. First you play for fun, but then maybe you notice your city or region needs an SC4lot file that you don't have or that its stats aren't right for the situation, so you go wander through SC4devotion. Maybe you find what you wanted, more likely you find dozens of things you didn't know you needed until you saw them here. So you go back to the game with your new toys. Play with them a bit, and then you remember what you wanted but couldn't find so you wander off to tweak the settings on a lot... and that's when the real trouble starts: you make a brand new lot of your own design to solve the issue. Making lots is addictive... and it's all down hill from there.

I'm really grateful for all the hard work folks have put in, from the constant flow of new lots, to the new tools that make using a slide rule seem easy, it's nice to see a game with staying power.

^True, just found Mattb325's houses... And some commercial building, all while looking for a new town hall. Didn't find that town hall, but I got houses and offices!

Before my HDs crashed I had a plugins folder right at 10 GB.

Since I lost everything and have to reinstall it all the hard way (back up on a 2nd HD that also cratered) its been cut back to about 6.5 GB.  I have a feeling I won't be putting everything I had back in, so in a way its good that I lost everything the game will load up faster (OK so I'm just trying to put a positive spin on it.)

My plug-in folder was somewhere around 5 GB but i recently cleared it all out and i now have a much more organised folder, and its less than 1 GB at the moment because i'm only adding plug-ins when i need them, instead of just downloading reems of stuff i had not intention of using, which is what i used to do.

0 MB. I know, I know.. My Home computer decided not to connect to the net, and the only way to get it back online was to wipe the HD. Of course these day's you can hardly live without internet, since homework, emails, even banking's online. So, time to reinstall SC4 and get going again!

Edit: Up to 114 MB!!  $%Grinno$% :D
Sendona... Coming soon!

About 5Go, but I never play with the entire contents.  ;)

Around 3GB, and I can use all of it now that I have 4GB of XMS Corsair RAM and a brand-new nVidia 250 GTS.
