SC4 Picture Competition

Sorry to say that Republic, but there are nothing that proves your picture is from SC4, therefore it is whitdraw from the competition as per the rules.

Obviously, they have to be from SimCity 4.

Here are the official rules of the SC4Devotion picture competition Contest.

I give you a two hours delay to put a picture that we can see is from SimCity4. Otherwise someone can take the round after the two hours have passed.

I thought it was likely that this was going to happen, but fortunately I have the image to prove that it is indeed an image in SimCity 4. However, the image is heavily photoshopped, just to see the further potentials of SimCity 4 images.

Just goes to show how much photoshopping can change a simple photo from SC4 really

Hoping that this photo is proof enough (I have several others to support this) I think I broke the bounds of what a SimCity 4 pic is expected to look like...



Yeah, sorry if it's unexpected, but this genuinely is SC4, just with some heavy photoshopping. The BAT is actually listed on Terring7's futuristic BATs here on SC4D, so further proof that this is a genuine BAT as well

Lol, Sorry if it wasn't obvious, but it was never really meant to be obvious as I was using it in an MD update here on SC4D, but I guess it becomes a problem when I enter it here. My CJ/MD kinda had an update on this, but so far no one really protested or was really suspicious of it not being in SC4; So I entered it here.

I made the pic to try give people a new perspective on SC4, just to show what you can do when you fiddle around with it

because in the MD it's fine. In the SC4 picture contest we have strict rules that are meant to follow. I invite you to read them, especially the rule about extreme Photoshoping.

Your picture is in fact from SC4 on the original shot. What is remaining on the picture you entered is just the building, and to be quite honest it does not look like it was from SC4.

Now we still have the problem of the extreme photoshoping, which on your picture make us guess it is not from Simcity.


I'm not picking or hating on anyone, before someone starts thinking so. I'm just applying the rules.

Oh, I really did forget about extreme photoshopping, I guess sometimes I can't determine where the boundaries are. I understand if the image has completely breached rules, and results in disqualification.

I'll have to be more careful then. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

No worries on the misunderstanding--these things happen     But are you going to post another picture?

BTW, my picture is not using Xannepan's aurora mod, just dobdriver's star background and some GIMPed in lights. And yes, I've noted that several of you would've preferred I choose a different picture to compete with
