I have a new computer
Here's the setup
Intel Core 2 Quad Q8200
4 GB DDR2 RAM
1 TB SATA hard drive
1 GB nVidia GeForce GT120 (9500GS) graphics

However, there are errors in the image
I do not know how to fix and normally I would like to play
What these strange errors on downloaded maps leap and not on the map Maxis

Do you play SC4 with a very high resolution (1600x1200 for instance)? This is a known graphic bug when you play SC4 with a very high resolution (Haljackey has the same problem too.)  Lower your resolution and your problem should be solved.

I think... it might be be because you are using wide screen.  There is a fix, just not sure what it is.

I believe the problem is introduced when you render (build the graphics) for the regions in higher resolutions. As I recall if you lower the resolution, then re-render the map, then it works and can be played at any resolution, but the render has to occur in lower res mode. It won't affect the quality of the graphics as that of course is mapped on a per-instance view. There are threads on this on the STEX and probably here as well.. sorry I have no links
