That's a really good attempt at an air show. You did better photoshopping than I have ever done in my life.

the island is finished but I'm having trouble with commute times. For example theres a house that the guy walks 5 tiles and is complaining about his commute time. Every one on this island is picky about they're commute time. Its uncanny!!

Your island is looking great, might want to consider something different for your beach, it does not look natural. There are some options from cp for different shore textures, If you terraform the beach your results might look be better.

That's a nice looking island, however, if I were you, I'd try to avoid taking pics with the "no job" zots and with the water bug ;)

I like the island. You just need to get a ferry between the island and the main area.

The island is much more developed (and vertical) than I was expecting.  You should find some jobs for those Sims (somewhere on the mainland) pretty soon, or else those buildings will abandon.

That's a nice looking island Daniel. If you zone a small bit of Manufacturing and a little Commercial that island will come alive. I'm curious to see how it develops.

Nice looking little island.  How about a ferry to give them access to the mainland?  That could help with the job issue.  CSGDesign made a pretty nice compact passenger only ferry pontoon that might be handy with your space constraints.  Still, it looks good!

That beach bug is one of the most tragic problems with this game, it still boggles my mind that Maxis never fixed it.
