Thank you, Arthur. Glad you like the pictures.

Here is one I just took this evening:

That's a great photo. Has anyone batted this yet? <hint hint>

Don't think anyone has batted it.

The drawings on the facades changes to reflect what is going on inside it.

Here is two pictures of a new building in Ørestad that is going to house a ground school and a public library:

Here is an extra picture for you. Again from Ørestad, this time a home for elderly people:

The first photo is stunning – your night shots are always beautiful. I really like the black and white photos too, though. It's easier to appreciate the angles, the lights and the shadows without the distraction of color. Also, I suspect the colors of the subject are not always especially attractive. Whatever, I'm glad to see some B&Ws thrown into the mix every now and then.

Thank you, Joan. I choice black and white as the clouds stood out more than in color.

Here is two pictures from Ryvang Mindelunde (The Memorial Grove).
Its a memorial park for the Danish resistance members that was killed during the 2nd ww.

The wreaths was placed in celebration of the liberation of Denmark the 5th of may.

At firing range where members of the resistance was shot, this poem can be read:
    Drenge I drenge som døde
    I tændte for Danmark
    i dybeste mulm
    en lysende morgenrøde

my best translation:
    Boys you boys who died
    you lit for Denmark
    in the deepest darkest
    a glowing dawn

Here are two pictures taken on the Battery Sixtus:

Its the Danish Sovereign Flag that is at the end of the row of canons.
The ship behind the canons with the yellow chimney is the Royal Yacht, Dannebro.
Today the salute-firing is done by 4 modern canons that can seen in the background, just next to the flag.

Nice shots of the battery, Arne!

One yard that Vilhelm Hammershøj painted a few times:

and one gate further:

The building in the last two pictures house the Danish company Vilhelm Lauritzen Aarchitects.

Revisiting another yard:

Went by to see how things looks at the daytime. Not that I have been by a lot of times, but never took the time to stop on that spot:

There are construction site all over the place. Has two mayor ones within 600 meter of my home.
In the back you can a crane on another site. It will be like this for the next 5-6 years.

Here is a few taken from the other side of that line of cars.
The old stock exchange:

The sun was just out for one short moment.

When I was on my way, I noticed what Neptun has on his head: A bike chain luck :P :D

Neptun, king of bike lucks.

EDIT: Added the second picture after some did a little work on it.

Here is some pictures from the other night where I took the night photos of Christiansborg.
This time from the southern part of the harbour. First another pictures of Bryggebroen:

This one is from Sluseholm with Teglværksbroen (Brickwork Bridge) with Metropolis (the curved building just behind the bridge) and way back Bella Sky Hotel.
On the left side of the bridge is going to be turned into new city area.

Some of the last sun of the day. A picture from inside the neighborhood Sluseholm. Like this area, a lot of the coming area there is going to be canals in them.

art128

that last picture is very beautiful! The two others as well, but I still prefer the last one. The clouds, canal and the Sunset reflections are perfect.

You've been posting some great-looking photos recently and all I've done is lurk in the shadows.  The small yards are charming and the gardens are lovely. I especially like the one of the bridge with living ornaments. I always enjoy seeing the Danish churches, and I agree with Arthur – the last one is definitely suitable for framing!

Tokugawa

The last pic is amazing  :satisfied:
See Okatabawashi ! the pearl of the Orient !
