Very nice, again, Ioan ! I am liking the reincarnation of Pirgos, it is quite different and modern. :)

I eagerly wait the next update.

What a nice update, I kind of like the rather chaotic feel to Oak Bay with its many different trees and buildings.

Update 55 - The town of Dover

Today's update is bigger as an excuse for the long delay :P
As mentioned in the previous update, the muddy lakes in the outskirts of Oak Bay are disliked by the citizens and are a potential danger for them. That's why the mayor has decided that he could fill them up... and build a highway on their place! That would be expensive but would also bring more investors in the area.
October 2nd, 1976 - the work begins.

5 months later, the highway is almost complete. What is left to do is an interchange to serve Oak Bay and a couple more kilometers of roadway to the town of Dover. There'll be more pictures of the highway in the next updates, today we're focusing on the town of Dover.

July 30th, 1977 - the highway is complete. Here's the place where it ends in Dover.

A look over the Town Hall, Hospital and boardwalk

Another view

A stretch of the town's main road artery. At the top left can be seen the Twister restaurant which constantly rotates and offers it's customers a nice view of the whole town. Across the street is the Flower market.

The Dover downtown. Here are located most of the offices in the town.

Another view of it

A quiet neighbourhood; at the lower right side can be seen the Dover river

It flows into the sea next to the Ferry terminal and the Lighthouse museum.

A broader view of the downtown, the pier and their surroundings

Different angle showing the northern part of the town

The outskirts and the river

This western exit of the town.

And a sunrise shot to wrap up today's update :P

See you soon with another update! Thanks for viewing (and commenting ::) )

Woaw, excellent update, Ioan ! I love the feeling of this town ! The Seashore docks are really well done and the downtown looks quite nice. I like the pond too.

Take care,

I'll take a quiet life... A handshake of carbon monoxide.

Excellent update indeed! Very nice use of the different NWM network as well as TuLEPs, and great realism in them.

Very nice little downtown. Great choice of lots and residentials!

Also, in your second from the last picture, what's that little cemetery filled up with colourful graves?

mikeski

Great update io_bg!  A very beautiful shore side town you've created.  I especially like that river and canal flowing through the town.  Great job!

Wonderful, Ioan !

This town reminds me of maybe the 1950s America; I think the new style of Pirgos in general are of this... an interesting change !  ;)

marsh

I'm loving these semi-rural areas. And as ecoba said It's a nice style.

Hello, guys. I'm really sorry for the lack of updates but I've been busy with RL and have also been experiencing some pc-problems (I haven't been able to play SC4 for a couple of weeks). Hopefully I've taken a few pics which should be enough for a proper update which, I hope, will be out soon. Thank you for all the comments!
