Update 70 | OSITM update 1

First of all, let me thank you - all the readers of my MD - for writing all these 1000 comments and for viewing this thread almost 50 000 times!!! Another big thanks to the SC4D MD committee for choosing me for the OSITM this month! I'm honoured and I hope you'll enjoy the following few updates!
Now the picture part! Let's move on the the 50s - the postwar era when the modernism was the dominating building style for a few decades. The old brick-covered buildings' successors were made by metal and glass and changed the skylines of many cities.
Let's take a look at Midtown Manhattan

Awesome update to start the month, Ioan !  I really enjoyed all those shots. The fireworks were amazing. I really, but really love the first shot, also as the modern-ish residential building shot.

Oh wow, such a lovely update again from Pirgos. (Quite a long time since my last visit, I do believe).
