Great to see you back. I like the construction shots of the highway exit. And the pedestrian bridge over the sunken road is a nice detail.

Good to see you back!  Nice updates, very good details!  Those custom lots look pretty good over all, I quite like the buildings you've chosen.  They could use some extra props to liven them up though!

RickD: Thank you!  :)

Guillaume (Sciurus) : I know the plazas seem a little empty, but hey, isn't that the way they are in this type of area?  :P

Battlecat: Thanks! The "custom lots" are just normal plaza fillers. Or am I misundstanding?

Update 16:

Denna gång tar vi en titt på ett litet villasamhälle mitt i ingenstans. Eller inte riktigt, det är en motorväg precis bredvid.
This time we'll take a look at some suburban development in the middle of nowhere. Well, actually there's a highway nearby.  ;D

Great update! I like the roundabouts, and I see you are certainly a fan of them :) Where is this town in terms of closeness to the highway?

Yan077

Very interesting work with the roundabouts, great pictures

This is really very nice.  The use of wide curves in the residential area is very sensibly implemented, and they just seem to fit right in.

nedalezz: Thanks! If you look in the last picture, you'll see the highway to the top right.

Yan077: Thank you!  :)

David (dedgren) : Thank you for your kind words!

Battlecat: Thanks! I find the wide curves to be aesheticly pleasing, wouldn't you agree?

Tomas Neto: Thank you!

Update 17:

A look at a city built by me in 2007. The reason why I chose to show I to you, is that it was one of the first cities in this region. You could say however, that I'm not very proud nor satisfied with the city. Most parts were built before I used real custom content...

Dåligt planerade nätverk / Bad road and train networks:

"Where we're going, we don't need slopes!"  :P

Hela staden / City as a whole:

Kuriosa: Staden heter Tjärnåbyl, främst efter de två kärnkraftverken som ligger mitt i stadens hamn.
Fun note: The city is called "Tjärnåbyl", a deliberate misspelling of "Tjernobyl" which is the Swedish name for "Chernobyl".

Well, it is certainly a different style of building.

Update 16 had some great images from your suburbs, nice mix of buildings there.

kwakelaar: Indeed. In this update, I'm back to the suburban community shown in update 16, though.

Another very nice update, my friend. I really love the way your suburbs look, they are almost a perfect mix of Maxis and Custom Content. The new residential bloc is no exception, and the whole area looks wonderful.

The new intersection also looks much safer, as well as more efficient in handling traffic in the area.

Round-a-bouts always seem to work very well. Nice job.

Looks good.  The slope for the rail is a bit to step in my opinion.

ShultzCity

Brilliant!! I love those suburbs, super realistic. I'd love to know where you got the sidewalks from - or are they maxis?
