Hi community,

I need some help. I don't know what to make of this:

I had this happen a couple of times recently in this town and the neighbouring town. First it just "blurred" some buildings and props. These were totally random. Next thing it looks like some trees were substituted with miniature buildings  ()what()
Zooming out, as you can see, the town is now floating in a sea of darkness.

When I load the towns, they seem to be fine, and I can play for a while, before this happens.
My settings are all on high and hardware rendering mode is on. Also, the game is assigned to one core.
I recently installed the DAMN and used the SSP tool to DAMNify some parks (that didn't work quite as intended as they are not hidden in the menu), else it's business as usual.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Thomas

I vote this to be the coolest graphics bug ever. Miniature building trees (MBT), that's awesome.

Did you run into the MBT problem before or after you installed DAMN and DAMNified the parks? Did you place any DAMNified parks before they were DAMNified? Is the park in the first picture with the MBT one of those parks you DAMNified?

The fact it didn't quite do what was expected leads me to believe it's related, so try to unDAMNify the parks. This may not do anything to stop the progression of the problem, if the Prop Pox is any indication (IE, once a city is infected, it stays that way).

However, if you have a save BEFORE the MBT occur, then unDAMNify the parks (Or delete and reinstall them, either/or), and load the city. If the MBT do not start showing up, then you know something in the DAMNification process caused them.

If not, then (hopefully) someone else will have a possible solution.
