Cyclone1001, Battlecat, Tomas Neto, i_love_lamp: Thank you guys very much! :)

penguin007: Thanks. I'm glad to here that, I'm still trying to build more "authentic". Not that easy but thanks to some great batters, there are alot of very nice lots and bats to fit in a north American city.:)

cubby420: Thanks.:) I indeed had a few problem with the NWM at first, but I'm getting used to it by now. :) It's really a great contribution to the NAM. I'm actually trying to use the divided road more in the residental areas.;)

We move on to "Rutherford Beach" a suburb in the east of "New Memphis". The city is one of very few large tiles. It's totally covered with suburbs... :D Honestly most parts of the suburbs aren't that great to watch, I had some problems with unemployed people and the demands. &mmm But "Rutherford Beach" hosts one of the biggest universities in the region, I think that's worth a glimpse. ;)

First a huge overlooking picture. You can see the whole campus and all sport facilities. Also some suburban offices have developped near the campus, must be an attractive area hehe :). (I needed to compensate alot of commercial demand) There is a cemetary and a big elementary school near the campus aswell.

Let's continue with a mosaic-closeup.:)

Let's continue the tour with an overview of the campus: (As you can see, it's mainly an economic university, world famous for it's reasearch.)

Some close-up's

To finish this update, some "non-university" pictures.;)

Wonderful update Manuel!  &apls  &apls The university looks incredible and I'm digging the suburban offices. You've got the layout and feel of American sprawl down.

Another fantastic update! Lovely suburbs you've built! &apls

cubby: Thank you. It wasn't easy to find some CO$$ and CO$$$ buildings that fit in my suburban areas. But I think by now I pretty much have them all. :D The wide NWM avenues are very useful for the american-layout too. I'm thinking about using the wide street curves for some "outer-suburb-neighbourhoods". I have to practice on the transition between city and rural areas anyway, that's one of my weaknesses.

I recently had a huge overdemand on R$$$ so I decided to reload and rebuild some R$ neighbourhoods near downtown New Memphis. I originally built 3 small "only R$" cities there. Now I'm gonna rebuild them all, make them look way better than before and try to get rid of this enormous R$$$ demand. :D (it's annoying when my suburbs are overcrowded with R$$$:()

Here you are with an overview, you can see downtown New Memphis and it's near suburbs. Today we're visiting the new version of Terryville.

I used alot of NWM in this city. For the first time lots of NWM on the smaller streets and not only on avenues.
The part where the less fortunate live:

I just love this japanese mod, that adds fences and sidewalks to the NAM bridges. Thanks to Andrew for the inspiration ;).

Now random pictures of residental neighbourhoods in this city. Alot of nice apartements:).

Good stuff bud. Love the low wealth diversity. This are would look great with a big dirty elevated line cutting through it  ;)  Maybe I think that because I see areas so much like this every day.

On a side note, I think that goofyguytpa never gets enough credit for being the most prolific creator of American urban grit and grime for sc4 with the arguable exception of Marcszar. Its crazy how much diversity his buildings add to the style set.

TiFlo

This is my dream mid-rise city. SC4 that is. I love it!  :)

Nardo69

Yeah. :)

Low wealth, run down, ugly, just love it! A metro line (el road or railway) would have added a bit. (You know Papa Nardo, dontcha?  :D)

Nice suburbs, too, but I say I prefer the ghetto!

Tale care my friend!

Bernhard

i_love_lamp

That's the most beautiful ugly cities I've ever seen!

RickD

Great couple of updates. New Memphis is huge!

And I have to second what cubby420 said. I couldn't play without goofyguytpa's buildings anymore. Does anyone know if he is still around?

That is really a well developed region, and your pictures from Terryville are looking great.
