Hi Dobdriver, I have requested a map in forums of NHP Team, but unfortunately he have a problem with his disk drive. Can you do a map of Ibiza Island?

Hello Dob.

Like supremac above me, I put in a request at the NHP team, but unfortunately due to an issue with blade's disc drive he is unable to load the game and render maps. Therefore I would like to forward my request to you.


I would like to request a map of the city and surroundings of Aoste, in northwestern Italy. The map would have it's centre around the city of Aoste (Aosta), and include some areas around all sides of the city.


(This would be an approximate area for the map to cover).

If it helps any, the coordinates of the city of Aoste are: 45°44′N 7°19′E.

I would prefer the map to be small, the image above would provide for 4 tiles vertical and 3 horizontal (at 160 pixels of that image per tile; I would prefer for it to be not much larger than this in game) (I would think the area would be big enough for more than this, but if it is smaller that would also be lovely ). If it could also be possible for the map to have elevations high enough so there is no game water, but still a defined riverbed- that would be fabulous as well.

I shook all the water out of the map-o-matic and hung her on the line for a couple of days and she's dried out beautifully, one could say as good as new.

Thanks Tangoboy, welcome and I've got a couple of maps of Ireland cooking for you. They'll be big and do not cover all the two county's but very close. As for why only one Balearic Island perhaps Supremec can furnish you an answer.

Well we have a bit of a show on I see, we'll get started then.


The first couple up I received a call from Blade as his rig is playing up a little, could I pop a couple in the toaster for him. No probs mate. These are for Ecoba and Supremec.



Aoste is 6.144km x 8.192km


Aoste is at full height and I've defined the river along the plain to add plop water.


Next along is


Ibiza is 40.96km x 32.768km


Just the one.



Next map out is courtesy of a request from Marciomaco, Thanks mate.


Porto is 53.248km x 53.248km.


A good allrounder is this map, another typical hamburger with the lot.

Lyon is 49.152km x 45.056km


Lyon has been lowered a few metres for the rivers.


Last for today is courtesy of Mayorfabz. Thanks mate, glad you mentioned geometry wasn't you're strong point.



Malta is 20.48km x 45.056km


Malta has been rotated 45^o clockwise and the airport now aligns due north south.

Wow thanks for the extremely quick reply to my humble request. I guess I am in for a sleepless SC4 night sometime this weekend.
Slight problem though: there seems to be sthg wrong with your imageshack account, as none of your images is showing  (I checked page 9 too, was the same.) Is there a way to work around this? Feel free to PM me the map if needed (provided it can be done of course.)

bad news, seems like I am not able to sqeeze the 4 awesome LA sector maps into 1 whole map.
Even tho I doubled my RAM to 8 gigs so the game can take full advantage of it's 32bit structure, it keeps crashing on me for a while now whenever I try to import another piece of this mastery, sometimes even upon loading, leaving my with approx 70% of the entireness finished... cant even scroll the entire map whatsoever.
Guess I found the games size limits 
Sad tho as I gotta seriously cut the covered area unless I want to abandon the project entirely... OR work with the 4 quadrants on their own...

Thanks Kelis, at the minute I cannot upload either Frankfurt or Kamloops even though both are under 10MB. 9.91MB and 8.83MB respectively. I have sent a pm to the dirkinator to enquire about what is happening on that front. Hopefully I won't have to be cutting the size of my maps down  . It may be I'll have to upload them to my server and just have links to them. We'll see though.

Maestro that reminds me of going through Singapore a few years back, one got off the plane and onto a bus to be driven to the terminal. Once inside all the guards carried M16's I didn't know whether to run or duck.

Tangoboy Thanks and the Malta map is fixed now and available for download off the stex.

GMT I had a dick around with the LA map on this new machine I built (16 gig of installed ram) and it still would only scroll to the 35th tile. I just don't think SC4 is going to play the game anymore. I can make single maps up to 98.3km a side now  . Caveats apply.


Just a small show for today, after dicking around with the stex and all since their change over I only have one ready at the moment.
