Is something like this possible?  I know you can use Shift + F[1-9] to control the intensity of god mode terraforming functions, but I'm not sure if that applies to the trees.  If it does, it doesn't offer much.  Is it possible to mod the intensity of this thing to get maximum tree density with just one click/pass, as opposed to dragging and lagging for ten minutes?  I think a lot of people other than myself would also find such a thing extremely useful.

Thanks for any input.

Do you mean the God Mode trees? Press and hold SHIFT for a "stronger" brush. :) Also, zoom out in order to cover a larger area with the brush, that should give you large forests in no time.

120 days? Sorry.  A mod like this, and a historical mod are my points of focus

A mod like this is something I want too.  This meadow shire is so pretty, but it takes a couple days to make a whole region.  Say you are playing in slow speed and you zoom in/out or scroll.  All plopables work much faster in the time it takes for the game to go from "not moving (darn) to time going by.  Check it out.  It is true for pause as well (plops work fast for the same couple moments).  With that in mind you can cover area much faster with GOD mode trees while holding down an arrow key.

Not sure much modding can be done.  Open up your core terrain mod .dat in reader and you will find a radius per zoom entry.  I have found that setting the closest zoom to a large number cuts my tree laying by a great deal.  Instead of moving around I just click about 100 times and let the computer think on that for a while
