Just keep going with it, you seem to off to a good start. Not every pic is a winner (and believe me I know) but every once in a while you will find a spot you keep coming back to. Those spots can usually make for a good picture. Also, browsing the forums here and other places halps to provide inspiration.

Here are some pictures from my Latin American region, which is quite old now, but to be honest, compared to that time, my new city are totally ugly and undetailled
