Hey TTC

I guess the curvy road keeps the truck freight traffic running slow. Keeps the cows happy. And as we all know, happy cows make more milk. Oh... by the way ... Nice pictures

I must say TTC the way you have managed to create those wavy edged fields along the meandering main road is a stroke of genius, gives the landscape a real natural feel that the plain old rectangular fields just can't manage.  :)

Amazing shots... I've yet to master rural development, I have trouble working with hills.
The most astounding and unique aspect of the human race is our fervent application of our ingenuity to kill each other, thus completely defying the near-universally proven fact that the ultimate goal of a member of a species is to ensure the survival of the species.

Nobody's tried to do any rangelands that I've seen. I've been giving it a shot here.

I think you should use (a lot) less rocks around that pond, but the rest looks just awesome! Great vegetation in particular.

I agree with Andreas. Maybe some mud-like stuff (does something like that exist?), or Jeronij's grass?
But indeed: beautiful.

Like the picture with the RHW and railway!
Also the others is looking great! Nice rural area!

Here's a rural area I created, I'm not too good at them.

But that's looking really nice! Nice farm-area, caspervg!

Thanks, hero.  ;) Unfortunantly the 'city' in the first picture was lost due to a save error... it's one flat land now  &mmm

Here's some others; from a village in the same region

And the village itself, surrounded by farms... The smell of manure is in the air.

Thanks to Wounagaine's Clip2Pic for shots & resizing.

Hello Caspervg

I like the picutre of the vinyards and also the one of the small village nestled amongst the farms. Sometimes the game does things right in that as it placed a couple of larger business then anchored them with small corner shops at the outside corners.

Some nice new areas there, caspervg! ;)

Also like that river and rural area, Toichus Maximus!

CasperVg

Very nice there Toichus, the meandering river looks very realistic. I doubt that roses (the purple in the left upper corner) would grow in such arid areas.

These are all from the same tile;

I love how you've integrated the highway with the farms! It flows very nicely!

As for my field, it's a lavender field, and lavender prefers arid dry soil with good drainage. It's reputedly best from the Mediterranean, so they're in a pretty good place, I think. It's also my favorite flower  :)

Great new pictures of the same tile there, caspervg!
