You have made the rural settings even more realistic in Sim City 4 GirlfromVerona, since you have shown us what you can do!

Chrisadams3997, Amazing work! especially on the roads, fences, trees and the fields themselves. ;D You're a legend!

The stunning walkway, trees and fog bring out a lot of realism in your picture Toichus Maximus, very proffessional indeed. &apls

Heres my newest mosaic that I have done in a long time, I may make more as I miss doing them.

Alex

Tolchius Maximus:  I remember seeing that image in your MD, but I'll say again, great job .  Very good use of the fog, kinda get chills just looking at that pic.  Only thing I'm not sure about is the lines of rocks.  I'm guessing they are supposed to be dry stream beds, but I think it could be done better.

Warszawa: Really cool effect.  The layout is simple, yet effective, and I really like the transition to the forest.  The combination of trees you used also produces a very good contrast between them.

Alex, that is absolutely beautiful.  &apls

Alex, those last two mosaics are absolutely beautiful.
They have a simplicity in their composition that is fabulous, but I suspect they took a lot of work.
Thank you for sharing them with us!

This isn't bad! Warszawa's mosaics are especially excellent, and it looks like I see exidence of a very low-quality JPG image, but of course it could be a different method of making the whatever-it's-called effect taht makes it so much more realistic...and I think I know how to do that, I'll try to make a similar effect and see how it turns out...
My days here are numbered. It's been great and I've had a lot of fun, but I've moved on to bigger and better things.

Alex,

The countryside shots are simply amazing,

you must let me know the glow and colour editing effects you use they are splendid!  :D

they add to the overall feeling of the picture in such a lovely way!

Ennedi

Wow, many excellent pictures here!  &apls

Chris, I like your general views, especially the second one ( with the river). The pasture looks very nice too, would you like to tell me something about this dirt road?  ;) It is not SAM street and I don't remember any ploppable set similar to this.

Girlfromverona: Very nice picture! The landscape looks modest but very realistic, I'm curious of the rest of your region  :)

Toichus Maximus: I commented it yet and I still like it a lot!

Warszawa: Wow Alex, Those are really beautiful mosaics! I simply love the forest from your first post, fields look great too!
The second mosaic looks very interesting too, color editing is very creative on both pictures and give very realistic feeling.
Maybe there is a bit too much softening effect on the first mosaic, but only around separate trees, the forest look perfect. Maybe it would be a good idea to use various effects on separate layers and then merge them. If you use PhotoshopCS2 or CS3, you can make also a layer mask and this way you can apply the effect only in these part which need it. (Personally I use Photoshop Elements 6.0 and I can't use layer's masks, this is one of main reasons I'm going to buy CS3  ;D)

Congratulations to all of you for an excellent work!
