I've played SC4 RH without CAM for over a year and I'm considering using this addon (probably using it on an independent and separate SC4 RH install)..  I have a few general issues with the assortment of new buildings?

Are the new buildings listed in the CAM manual the only new buildings added to CAM?

I'd like to add to my collection of buildings if what CAM provides by default isn't enough.  However, I strongly prefer downloading new buildings en masse in a pack of hundreds or thousands of new buildings if possible rather than going to the BSC and handpicking buildings individually.  Why?

The element of surprise: One of the most fun aspects of the game is having a new building unexpectedly grow in your cities.  The element of surprise is gone when you've already picked out the buildings beforehand.

Can anyone recommend specific packs or collections of hundreds CAM-compatible buildings available on the BSC?  I'm not interested in any *one* specific building..  only *collections*.

There are starter packs for all growables for CAM. You'll need to download the model files seperately still, but if you use Cleanitol to help you, and the lists in the Cleanitols For Free thread (linked in my signature), it really isn't that much work.
Also, all SimGoober packs on the LEX are CAMpatible, as is pretty much everything else on the LEX.

Not at all...
every CAMeLot that's been made (as far as I know) has been added to this list:

CAMeLots - Linking all available lots and bats

They are not available in a single download though. However, there is another option:
Donate 25€ to the site and get the dvd, with lots of CAMeLots included.
