I've seen people create great maps on here. Now the point is, that they are usually a lot bigger than the standard size you get from SC4. I don't want someone else's map or something, I'd like to create my own. I just want to know how to adjust the size of my maps.

Thanks!

Hi Maxim,
take a look in the mapping help section http://sc4devotion.com/forums/index.php?board=223.0

The map size is related to the config.bmp file that's inside every region folder. The different coloured & sized squares tell the game how big and in what configuration to make the region. (Blue for large, green for medium and red for small) If you come across a big custom map that you like you can keep just the config.bmp file inside the folder (throwing everything else away) and the game will load up a flat region with the same layout. Alternately you can edit the file in photoshop or similar (which is very easy)
